PWW* Google Internet Business Kit
Saw an authentic looking work-at-home Google Business kit using google adsense, listed as advertised and accepted by several UK media and business companies. Applied and was accepted, asked to pay a £1.29 one time set-up fee on my credit card. No other charges mentioned at all. NO business kit received in the post which was advertised, however, got an email about a week later, giving me details to log into my account at the above company using a no-reply email address at pacificwebworks.com, they had charged my account with was told only means of contact was to ring their headquarters in Utah, US which is expensive from the UK during their business hours (middle of the night for me) this I did and one the one occasion I got through got an answerphone, I have since followed this with a written letter but it does say on the email that cancellation can only be made by telephone and seems to be at their discretion. I have now contact my card issuer and asked for a stop on further payments in their favour. There is nothing in any of their "Ads" to say there is a monthly service charge and you do not know what this charge is until it appears on your statement (its not stated in the email!). Please don't get caught like I did!
Added bit...sorry I forgot to add the "monthly" services charge is almost £51
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Sir or Madam, I recently responded to an internet advertisement that claimed that I could earn money from Google and that there would be a one time charge of $2.95 US. I paid this amount on the internet using Visa and downloaded some instructions they provided. The website is www.yourprofitgateway.com. Their address was listed as Salt Lake City. Later...
