Ride bergen is the only approved bmw dealership/maintnance shop in whole west of norway, which is really bad option for those who wants to buy bmw motorbikes in west of norway
Orderd parts, lower seat, turn signal, clutch and front break. Waited for over 5 weeks, then called and asked where my parts went, they said it was laying at them but no appointment was available before weeks, maybe if I stopped by on saturday they could get a guy to mount the parts. (I eventually just picked up and installed parts myself on the bike to get it up and running again)
I scheduled my first 1000km service at ride for my f900r and got told that theres atleast 7 weeks before their able to take in my bike and get it checked out. I called them and asked for a quicker response, I was told by ride “you should have thought about buying it at us insted of going to a other place to buy your bike, we prioritize our own customers”
Closest bavaria service point excludeing ride, is. 4 hours away from bergen or west of norway, which is absolutely horrendous especially when all I need is to get oil and tft display reset…
I called arround over 6 diffrent shops, no1 could help me.
For those considering buying bmw in bergen, get ready for your [censored]tiest service point ever. Where ur last in line, and always need to wait weeks before being able to drive your bike again. I have also bmw car which im very pleased with service and car 8th year on row.
Really dissapointed in bmw that they have not been able to get more decent 3rd party servicepoints, or their own bavaria in bergen, and that they did not ensure that all bmw bikes has a place to get service, thats not as far gone as solutions that I have available.
I will most likely sell the lovely f900r and get a yamaha insted which has alot of diffrent service points in whole west of norway.
Hopeing for a more convienient solution then going to ride!
Desired outcome: - more 3rd party approved bmw service points- bavaria service point in bergen- better quality service then Ride can deliver
