When I initially visited Rutgers health center I was advise that they would tell me the total cost to have a procedure done. I paid 126 for the x-rays and another 170 for the consultation for a total cost of 296 dollars. When I arrived at the facility, I repeatedly asked what the total cost would be to repair my teeth. Rutgers did not give me an answer and promised to advise me of the cost once scheduled back. Upon arriving for my second visit they advised me of the cost and then ask for an additional 170 dollars for doing so. I complained, saying, why couldn’t you tell me the total cost on my first visit, why did it take a second visit. Dr. Adachie then told me he would not charge me for the second visit. Today September 10 I received a billing for an additional 35 dollars for the visit after Rutgers had explicitly told me they would not charge me. Also note, Rutgers is still billing me that additional 10 dollars which I filed a complaint with your office about for the first visit, Rutger’s told me a month later they had made a mistake in the initial bill, claiming it should have been 306 dollars, not the 296 which we agreed upon to which I paid in full.
Desired outcome: For the time an effort for this stupidity. Please have your office charge them 10 dollars, plus another 35 dollars for wasting everyone’s time. As for me, I want their bogus billings to stop.
