I speak to Lincare workers almost daily with my job at a health insurance administrator. We process the medical claims. Lincare charges 4 to 6 times the cost, sometimes 10 times more than the items actually cost. Their excuse is because "Medicare will pay that much, they can bill the patient and insurance that much. " (so.. the moral is.. the nation doesn't need health care reform, they need Lincare reform. And medicare reform. )
But the insurance companies get blamed.

Also, we have found that the drivers who deliver the oxygen and supplies bring in armfuls of supplies to the patients, tell them that once it is brought into their home, it cannot be returned. Therefore, the patient is charged sometimes $200-$300 extra per month for those items that they didn't need, nor did they ask for.

Our little company has put a hold on how often they can receive those items unless a doctor prescribes them. Otherwise, the patients medical equipment dollar is wasted on useless supplies instead of the items they really need to spend their hard earned dollars on.

Shame on you Lincare.

I called a Patricia Dubeon the following cellphone number [protected] and she stated that i need to purchse R180.00 airtime and send it to her number once i do this then a bank will deal with the rest.
