The above law office is a debt collector on behalf of Memorial Regional Hospital. It filed a judgment against me even though I was paying something towards the bill back in 2003. I paid the judgment in full, which the mortgage company that I refinanced with in August 2006 paid the remaining balance. However, the attorney's office refuses to show that the judgment was satisfied instead it continued to send me threatening letters for others services rendered after the final judgment was in place. I think this is totally illegal and I am in the process of filing a formal complaint against the law office.

My credit report was also showing five judgments instead of one which caused my credit score to drop and my credit report to appear with five different credit reports as supposed to one. I filed an investigation with Transunion and it is still showing two of the same judgments. Therefore, I would have to ask for another investigation. When I sent the law office an explanation on the reason for the information on my credit report, it return send me a threatening letter to pay the remaining balance within forty (48) eight hours. Up to this day which is 4-10-07, it has yet to answer the question.

ABOUT SAGE LAW OFFICES in Sunrise Fl...

The above law office is a debt collector on behalf of Memorial Miramar Hospital also,
I have been paying my deductables amount, monthly but just a month ago
I requested personally the pay off of my account for the second time,
and they said to me they could not tell me, and again that they would send it to me via US mail, again instead they sent me a law suit threat and a demand to pay the full original amount, without crediting my payments.
I had asked the hospital to help me, I lost my job.
They said there was no help, they received almost $20, 000 from my insurance and are threatening regarding $150 deductable balance...
I agree they should be investigated...because they are refusing to give me a pay off amount...I wonder if they just bought the debt from the hospitals!

I've been dealing with sage law offices for over 5 years now and I have never experienced any problems except the few times they credited my husband's account instead of mine (we both had active accounts with sage law offices). Other than that, no complaints.

Sage Law offices people are just plain old mafia collection service. They file cases valid or not valid as long as they have something to file for. Totally unfair and corrupt law practice. Requesting Florida State Attorney offices to investigate and punish them.

Just received a letter from them stating that I hadn't paid my Medical Bill from Broward Medical Centre. I was admitted in April 2016, due to heat exhaustion, and had numerous tests carried out. After an hour, I was discharged with a clean bill of health. Paid a deposit of $400 with the remainder to be paid at a later date (which it was). This morning 7/3/2017, a letter demanding payment arrived. Is this a scam?
