Seagm review: Misleading account policy, violate customer term of use, illegally store customer information against their wish 1

On September 23, 2023, My kid wanted to buy some Arena of Valor voucher that was only available on Indonesia server, and this website came up as a middle man website able to help international player buying those type of voucher. I had my doubts about this site so I created a brand new email to sign up for an account with them. After my paypal payment went through, I got a notification requiring me to send in these documents in order for them to perform a further verification on my account before they can deliver my voucher:

1. Take a selfie by holding a passport/identity card

2. Proof of payment purchase history/receipt

3. A picture of the credit card used

4. Bank statement

What kind of business that would need such personal informations to process an order?

In the chat session with their customer service, I told them I don’t need to purchase these voucher anymore so please refund my paypal and I won’t send in my personal informations because I don’t wish to purchase anything from their site anymore, therefore, there is no need for further verify my account. I requested to have the phone number on my account changed just to see if they would. Just as I suspected, the service agent refused to change it, he stated, even if I won’t buy anything anymore, I still need to send in those personal information for them to perform their verification on my account.

I then said “I would like to have my account deleted”. He replied:”by the way, can’t delete as well” , when I said im confused, their policy said I could and I don’t need to purchase anything so why do they need to perform verification, he rudely replied:” no need to be confused, stop saying you didnt buy anything when you just bought something today, whatever delete account or changing mobile phone, need verification as well”.

After the back and forth, he then notified me that THEY HAVE SUSPENDED MY ACCOUNT! I need to email their customer service to lift the suspension before I can delete my account. I did, then got an email back from them saying” After a thorough review/assessment, we regret to inform you that your SEAGM account shall remain suspended indefinitely and no further action to be taken.”

On their official website, it states very clearly, you can have your account deleted if you wish to not continue to have an account with them anymore but they WOULD NOT let me to delete my account. They insisted on pressuring me to submit more of my personal informations before they can consider to help me with anything. They DECEIVE you to believe they are legitimate but THEY ARE NOT!
