My wife recently attempted to purchase a washing machine at your Avon, IN store. When attempting to put the purchase on our Sears / Citi Credit Card, she was denied the use of the card because of "inactivity." Well, this was very humiliating and stressful.
We've been loyal users of Sears products for 50 years+. Never have we been so rudely treated by Sears i9n the past.
I realize that to hold down your overhead costs that you farmed out the "credit card" business to a bank -- real mistake. Their policies do not take "humanness" into consideration.
I don't want to deal with Citibank, I want to deal with Sears! If you won't run with the ball, I might have to stop using your services altogether.
Please get this "inactivity" issue resolved, soon.

I shouldn't have to worry about whether I use the Sears Card or a Visa Card or a Master Card when shopping; this is a personal choice of mine, not Citibanks.

This is an issue you could of resolved with Sears credit. This is a complaint board not Sears.com
Wow your are the most ignorant poster i have read yet! You posted your account number on here WTF? The card is run threw Citi Bank Talk to them. The card is "frozen" because you HAVEN'T used the card this is done to prevent fraud

had sears citi card 4 or 5 yrs uptodate payments never late on payments, time to renew they cancel me for no reason sears sucks they wont stand with you because citi owns the card but its a sears card sears suck right along with citibank
