On 7/27/23 my dishwasher broke. It was purchased on Mastercard 8/19/2021 from Best Buy. One year factory warranty expired. So, filed with Mastercard extended warranty for reimbursement 8/16/2023.
Extended Warranty Claim #[protected]
Had estimate for repair 8/3/2023. Received repair estimate via text from Best Buy repair person Luis on 8/3/2023 order [protected]. Gave verbal OK to make repairs.
Repaired by Luis via Best Buy on 8/11/2023.
Nikia Darby is clerk working on claim. I sent All paperwork. She keeps requesting estimate.
Best Buy uses sub-contractors for repairs and they do not have written estimates, per Luis. All estimates via text. I have sent Nikia email showing text of estimate. It shows the parts needed, the SKU numbers of the parts, the date of repair (once parts arrive) and the estimate cost.
The work was completed 8/11/2023. All estimate info matches up with the final invoice from Best Buy dated 8/11/2023 with parts used, SKU numbers, and charge for and total cost, as well as payment in full of $308.18.
In this day and age everything is done electronically. I sent all info Nikia needed. There is no doubt as to dates of estimates, cost to repair, part numbers ordered, part numbers used in repair, repairs done and payments for repair.
Proof the work was done and paid for. What else can I do if Best Buy does not have written estimates and only gets approval for work verbally and electronically?
I have been with Mastercard for almost 20 years. Never used extended warranty. So, thought I'd take advantage of this benefit.
I have followed through with your requests. Please follow through with your obligations as a reputable company and resolve this.
I asked Nikia to call me and no call. I called customer service and they said they would "prioritize" this. service says she called me. I can show you phone records. She did not call.
I requested from Nikia what can be done to resolve this?
Please look into this and reimburse me for what was clearly within the guidelines of reimbursement under extended warranty.
