I was working for Walgreen on a reset that was in the freezer and adjusting shelving when my shoulder popped and shot pain and electrical shocks throughout my shoulder and my back/spine. My boss at the time, Damian Miller, informed me to call the nurse triage line. The nurse triage told me to use ice 15-20 mins off and on and to call back if I needed to. Also, that if need to go to the bee seen at any time to inform them. My shoulder could not move, and I was in so much pain that I was crying and could not sleep. I went to my local ER which was Eastern Regional Medical Center. It was a work related and Workers Compensation. The ER Dr referred me to a specialist to see because I needed an MRI. He was pretty sure I tore my shoulder. I have had so many adjusters changed on me, and I was neglected services to even get my shoulder seen. So, I did not get to have my shoulder looked at over the course of several months. The adjusters also failed to put in notes when I called begging for them to help me be seen. I complied with everything they asked of me. They even closed my case without me knowing. I received two bills in the mail from the date I was seen for my shoulder this year in the beginning. So, I tried to call and figure out why I was receiving a bill and my NEW adjuster Kiah had told me everything would be taking care of, and I would not have to pay anything, I was not even aware that I had a new adjuster either. She is the one who told me that they did not even put my phone call notes in. I called several times and left voicemails with these adjusters, and no one even called me. Kiah game me a fax number so the hospital could bill, and she also gave me her phone number there. The hospital has not got any response from Worker's Compensation and here it is over a year. I was completely neglected by the whole entire crew. I could not even receive services to get my shoulder looked at nor fixed! I still have problems to this day!
