Back in may of this year I was referred to serclean from a plumbing company due to some water damage in my home. When the guy came in we went to the damages and told me that my damaged was an insurance claim he also made me signed a form that they will handle the claim with the insurance and asked he me to give them permission to collect the insurance check he told me not to worried because they will deal with the insurance and accept whatever the insurance pays them. Now all of sudden I get a bill from serclean for 10k the insurance agreed to pay them $1,500 they told me that money is too small that they can’t accept it and they want me to pay them the remainder or else they will take me to court. I asked them to send me a copy of the paperwork where I agreed to pay anything and they haven’t sent it yet. Serclean is a scam trying to make money of insurance and the work that they’ve done in my home is not worth 10k all they did was put a bunch of fans is small room and causing my electric bill to go up and left their trash bags on my property. This company deserve to be out business.
Desired outcome: SerClean needs to settle for the $1500 the insurance company will give them.
