I bought few vouchers from groupon for cleaning services with seven shine cleaning services few months ago. I have rang them up several times [protected] If u ring up in the morning. They will tell you to ring between 4-6 to book for an appointment If you ring between those times no one will answer. If they answer they are so rude and ask you to ring next time ad they are busy. Rang groupon but didnt do anything but just advised me to keep ringing the company. Dont deal with seven shine Very rude!

I agree, bought a simple voucher for this 'company' to do car detailing from Spreets Adelaide, and have tried many times to get through on the mobile number at different times of day, and no answer. Finally got on to 'Con' (appropriate name) and he put me on hold then hung up on me 1 minute later. I called again, he put me on hold again, and after a few minutes waiting, finally got to talk to him. Very inflexible with appointment times, couldn't book me in for 3 months. If you ask me, this company and it's lack of service is an absolute waste of time. Definately do not use this company!

I have had the same experience with Seven Shine in attempting to redeem vouchers for house cleaning and car cleaning. Despite numerous attempts via phone and email I have not had any success. The voucher I bought the house clean for was from Living Social. I have complained to them about this company and they just say not their problem as the voucher has now expired. The other voucher for Seven Shine came from CUDO - they hav refunded my money for the car clean (without any prompting from me) and they tell me that Seven Shine has gone out of business. Can't help but wonder just how legitimate this company is / was!

I've had the same experience with Seven Shine. I managed to book in for a car clean, took three phone calls and SMS the day before to confirm before someone called back. 15 minutes before appointment I got a phone call from Con/Rob (the guy seems confused over what his name is) saying he couldn't find my address on his GPS. I slowly spelt out the street name and suburb. Still couldn't get it - hadn't heard of the suburb I live in, even though it is a very large southern suburb. Spelt it out again using "A is for apple, B is for ball" etc. Ten minutes later and fifty repeats of "A is for apple" etc I asked him whether he could just pull out his street directory seeing as his GPS still couldn't locate my address (and he seemed to have some severe form of hearing dyslexia - kept repeating "E" after I said "D is for dog"!). Would you believe the guy doesn't have a street directory in his car!? This is when it got heated... ended up with Con/Rob calling me all sorts of things including a ### and telling me to get a refund. Interestingly, Con/Rob called back 10 minutes later cheerily stating that he had found my address! Needless to say, I declined the offer - especially after being told that I had insulted him - and Cudo has now promised to refund. Don't go there people!

I totally agree with the experiences above. Having constantly being told to call back, and when i finally forced them to take a booking it wasn't for a few months. The date came (was a 7am booking on a friday) no-one showed up. I sent a message and receievd a response after an hour that they had cancelled due to personal reasons and they tried to contact me (i had no missed calls on my mobile). I didn't bother arguing, I just responded saying i'll call monday to rebook. I've just gotten off the phone with him (he would not provide his name when asked, after requesting that he take a booking he advised that the voucher has expired and they will not clean the house. After explaining their last cancellation he proceeded to swear and abuse me and continued to shout at me after requesting he stop swearing. In the end he said "if i want my house cleaned i will have to fkn pay him" I'm still traumatised at how I was treated. I'm hoping that Deals.com will process a refund after this.

Yes Seven Shine totally suck. I bought a voucher from Spreets for a car clean. After numerous attempts at getting anyone to answer, I finally managed to make a booking. The earliest they could fit me in (because supposedly they are so busy!) was in 4 months time. I can't believe I waited 4 months for them to not even turn up. So I called and asked why they hadn't come and was told they were busy and would try and come later in the day. Yeah right. Can't believe they've scammed thousands of dollars from thousands of people. This has totally put me off buying any more deals. I have made a complaint to spreets so we'll see if they do the right thing and refund me. I won't be holding my breath!

Same issues, making bookings well into future and not turning up, not answering phone calls, when getting through said can't find booking, put me on hold for 15 minutes, said would call back and i told him he wouldnt and he said would prove me wrong and never did, told him about all the bad reviews online and accused me of threatening him, have now emailed cudo to try and get my money back, still has active deals on other sites as well. has completely put me off buying deals from anymore sites

Seven Shine are complete con artists! My experience was the same as above - After months of trying to call them and having my calls and texts ignored I eventually forced them into locking in on a date to have my house cleaned - over four months later! And of course the date that they gave me after confirming the type of voucher I had was knowingly after the expiry date for my Groupon. Again the day came and nobody showed, I called the mobile number supplied ([protected]) multiple times and when I finally got onto someone I was told that the voucher had expired and that they would not honour it. When I protested stating that they had refused to book me in until after the expiry date despite all my efforts to the contrary I received the extremely rude response that I didn't have anything in writing so I had no evidence and if I didn't like it I could sue him! I can't believe how rude and unprofessional this company is, and I highly suspect I was given that date with the intention of them never honouring it! I have never come across such an atrocious service and I wonder if consumer affairs would be interested in all these accounts! I will most certainly be contacting Groupon to tell them exactly how displeased we are with this service and request a refund!

RIP OFF! They will take your money, but never deliver. (See reviews from other sources)

No response after several a month of trying to get in touch with "Seven Shine Cleaning Service". Never return calls or offer any kind of appology.

Buyers, be aware!

Seven shine cleaning is a scam ! Purchased through OurDeal, Had to wait 6 weeks - and never showed up, re-booked 2 times after, still no show . 'Con' starts friendly and vague, then rude, aggressive and claims voucher is not valid anymore -when it is? He even uses fake names (same voice and mob number) ? Beware !

"Con" has certainly been running a con! I purchased a $49 (2 hour) house clean through Our Deal and had a similar experience to the others in as far as ringing to book, only they were lucky, they never got the supposed "clean" - I did! I went through the whole fiasco of "is your voucher still valid?" (which it was) + it will cost you and extra $10 because you are 13 klm from the city (you had to be under 10 klms); not listening to what we were saying and whenever we said we wanted a house clean, he repeated that we wanted a car clean and "can we book you in for a regular weekly clean?" etc etc.several times before finally getting a date to do the job (3 months down the track). When the due date arrived, naturally he "no showed" and when I rang to find out where he was, he was terribly rude and unprofessional and the conversation got heated! Unfortunately for me, I persisted, as I really was relying on having my house cleaned and the next day, "Con" turned up in his black BMW, unloaded an old vacuum cleaner, mop and bucket, got me to pay him the extra $10 upfront...and 40mins later had already packed his car and left. Upon inspection of his "work", I was dumbfounded and furious! The guy had done some superficial vacuuming, obviously a bit of spraying and wiping around empty surfaces and whatever he used to wipe over my kitchen floor tiles, my shoes stuck to the floor as I walked over it. He had used my harpic for the toilet bowl, but the rest of the bathroom was virtually untouched! I have never experienced anything like it in my life and actually believe my husband is right when he said that he's using it as a cover to "case the joint"! It was a total scam. I'm now writing to Our Deal and requesting refund and will go to Consumer Affairs. As someone said, he's raking it in using Companies like Groupon, Our Deal etc with seemingly no intention of doing the job and the few times that he has to refund people to have them go away is a small price to pay compared to what he's making - no wonder he drives around in a BMW! Be warned!

Exact same experiences as all the above, has anyone been refunded by Groupon at all? I am booked in for August but after reading these I think I may just cancel and hope to get a refund.

Hi there, I bought vouchers for both house cleaning (through Groupon) and car cleaning (through Spreets). Evidently the company no longer exists. If you contact the Customer Service Depts at both Groupon and Spreets they should refund your money. Such a pain - now I've got to clean my house and my car myself!

But seriously, they should refund your money with no problems as they are aware of what has happened.

What an absolute joke, made an appointment for carpet cleaning and told him it was on the first floor he called back once he got to the apartment and said he won't be able to do it as there are too many stairs and his equipment is to heavy, unbelievable.
