This complaint is against SFE energy. Last fall a sales rep for this co showed up at our place of business, after listening to their pitch that sounded great, we signed up.
After googling and reading online scam reports, we called and cancelled the next day. All good until a few months ago my wife was looking at the electric bill and discovered a charge from SFE was a part of the billing. After numerous calls to SFE, to no avail. Last month we contacted our local electric co and they removed SFE from the billing. Today we received a registered letter from SFE with a cancellation bill for $450.00... What happened to having 3 days to cancel any contract, which we did.
What can be done about ripoff?
