Shark Vacuums destroy carpet fibers. Each time we use the Sharp the cannister is loaded with carpet fibers mixed in with dirt/dust. I have spoken customer service at Shark and the say impossible. NO they are more than wrong. With these machines it is impossible to adjust the height of the beater bar, just the suction and what the Shark reps fail to understand the suction does nothing to protect your carpet. Ask people who have the Shark to look in the cannister after they vacuum and they will get a rude awakening.
Last weekend we had to replace the carpet in the family room as it was destroyed. It was costly and I think not necessary if Shark knew what they were doing.
Desired outcome: Not sure. The damage has been done. But the rest of the carpet in my home is also more than damaged but I am not in a position to replace it all.
