On July 17, 2017 I bought a reclining leather sofa from El Dorado Furniture at
West Palm Beach Boulevard, 1901 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33409.
Before the sale was concluded, the salespersons at the store told me about purchasing a 3 year Smart Choice Premium Protection Plan that will cover my sofa for 3 years (July 2019). I purchased the protection plan and sofa.
However, On March of 2019 I called both Smart Choice and El Dorado Furniture that my sofa was sinking on one side of the seat cushion. They refused to honor the Smart Choice Protection Plan. Furthermore, after contacting the Better Business Bureau, El Dorado Furniture said that they will fix my sofa but I have to pay for repairs.
I purchased my sofas from eldorado in wpb nov 2017 the sales person sold us their premium protection plan from smart choice montage furniture services in November 2019 the sofa material was disintegrating I called the smart choice protection company and got hung up on for a week straight I called eldorado and they filed the claim
I never heard back from the insurance company till today claim fenied due to not reporting claim within 30 days of seeing problem ., . This is fraud this company and eldorado are creating insurance fraud do not purchase either furniture or this insurance
