I am an extremely unhappy customer of Sona Med Spa. I started off with laser hair removal on my underarms and bikini line. $4000 later, no results and a WHOLE lot of pain. They even convinced me to spend $75 on numbing cream that they make you come in an hour before your treatment and apply. (Hopefully you're started with your treatment after an hour and a half because they are always running late.)

I always have various technicians, various treatment techniques, and bad attitudes. The only thing that is consistant is that everyone is an equal amount of rude. They complain and gossip about each other at the receptionists desk IN FRONT of clients. God forbid if you have to ask them a question it's like you're bothering them. Once I even heard them talking about a client complaining because she got burned, and laughing about it.

I have filed numerous complains with corporate, and requested a partial refund. They have given me the run around and I honestly expect to not get anything back.

I have since started going to American Laser Centers off Broad st. and so far it has been a much better experience. They even gave me close to half off since I have had so many treatments before. I am already seeing more results after 3 treatments than I did after 6 at Sona. I highly recommend going there.

I had treatment at the Greensboro's Sona Medspa and was extremely disappointed in the service I received. i paid $1000's to have age spots and sun damage removed from legs and was left with stripes up and down my legs where they missed areas. When i complained about it, they said I had to buy another treatment to correct the stripes. I complained to the head office in Charlotte and they finally agreed to give me a free treatment but cancelled all other treatment I had purchased in a package deal. They said I just wasn't a good candidate for AFT treatments. I will never go back to them again.

I have been going to Sona MedSpa for over 2 years now for various procedures. Not sure which office you went to, but the prices you are quoting in your complaint do not even come close to the actual prices of the laser hair removal. (way too high) I have also purchased the numbing cream, which is about $40 less than what you quoted. I have had my bikini, underarms, legs, upper lip, and chin done and am very pleased with the results. I only shave about once a month now and that is just to take care of some stray hairs. It is worth the investment if done properly. High recommend Sona!
