I purchased a playlet from Spimbey, based in Middletown, DE in December 2021. This was a pre-order item that was to be delivered in March 2022. They charged my credit card the almost $1400 when I made the purchase. March came and went and I heard nothing from the company. I contacted them in late March to ask about delivery and they gave me excuses about shipping and parts delays secondary to COVID. They were unable to ever provide me with a concrete shipping date. I was in contact with them multiple times with no information given so I asked them to cancel my order and refund my money. They emailed back saying they would cancel the order and refunds typically take about 10 business days. After multiple other emails with them over months, I still have not received my order OR a refund. It is now outside of the dispute date for my credit card company because they have given me excuses for so long.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund. This was a gift for my daughter for her third birthday and my funds for it have been tied up for almost a year while she never received her gift.
