In the past year, myself and one other person received sick Bengal kittens from Spots of Gold Bengals. The other person received their male F2 kitten emaciated and sick, and after spending several hundred dollars, it died 2 weeks later from Panleukopenia - which could have been easily prevented if it had received the shots Jimmy Glenn- part owner of Spots of gold - said he had given it. I spent several thousand dollars for a breeding female from Jimmy Glenn at this cattery and the first female arrived with Giardia, Campylobacter, a serious ear infection in both ears, and a incurable stomach issue that she will have for life. She was neutered since she would never be able to have healthy kittens. The breeder agreed to replace her and this kitten arrived, although healthy, in a too small crate with one sheet of a cloth-like paper towel for bedding. She had been dumped at the airport by Mr. Glenn before finding out that the shipping plane flight had been cancelled and told the airlines when they called him to come back and get the kitten that " the kitten was no longer his concern, he was washing his hands of her and he didn't care what happened to it". The kitten arrived finally with the help of the airline agents 17 hours after she was dumped by Mr. Glenn. She was covered in urine, feces and standing in water that had spilled and since she had no bedding she was unable to get out of it.
I would seriously recommend that anyone wanting to buy a Bengal cat to not buy from this breeder.
What a horrible breeder and story. I am sorry for your experience and for the poor little kittens. That breeder sounds like a disgrace to the human race. He should be put in a small crate without proper bedding for 17+ hours and let's see how he likes it.
