My grievance
To,
The Principal,
Mr. Rajkumar,
St Paul High School
Malwani Gate no.7, Malad (West), Mumbai - 400095.

Subject:- Grievance regarding my daughter's admission in Jr. K.G.

I went to school on December 2007 for my daughter's admission in junior K.G and talked to Principal and He said that your daughter will complete 3 years in 29th May 2007 and She will be 3 years and one month old when she will be in Jr K.g. The pre-requisite here is child should be 3.5 years old for Jr K.G. When I requested him, he asked me to come on May 2007 with my child so that he can interview her. On 11th May I went to meet principal office he said you come on Monday, When I went there on Monday, He said goto Mrs Sashi Madam, I went there, She talked very rudely and said that Principal had informed her that, We wont take interview as your daughter age is not 3 and half year. Also she said you should have come to me on December, We do not care or listen what principal promised, Only I take care of admission of children and nobody else.

Is this the way of talking to parents? If Principal Raj Kumar was not sure about his words then why did he promise me to admit my child in KG. Mrs Sashi Madam also did not behave well. This entire thing took a long time and I did not try any other school for my child's admission.

Also I want to know if its legal that child should have completed 3.5 yrs before admitting to K.G. I have also heard that they deliberately stop students at 9th standard so that only good people go to 10th and score good marks. The intention behind this is they don't want to spoil the school's name, but this way they are playing with careers of many students.

I am very disappointed with all this and request you to please look into the matter and take some corrective steps.
