Having joined this site to see if there was any potential suiters on there I created my profile and put up a photograph.
The next day I had 32 messages which I could only access by upgrading my membership to Premium membership by paying one of three different membership packages.
Once I had paid for just one month at a cost of £21.99 I opened my mail with high hopes only to find most of the messages with Hotlist adds which means the men had added me to thier Hotlist(favorites)without actually messaging me.
Out of the 32 only 9 had messaged me and most were the same guys that had been on the site 2 years ago when I was a mamber for a month.
The same thing happened two years ago these guys message you you reply and then you never hear from them again.
I beleive they are used as bait to get you to join and pay the membership fees.
Since that initial 32 men I have had nothing which leads me to believe its a con and that once you have paid your money there is no men to contact you.
DONT JOIN THIS SITE !

I am having a similar experience with sugardaddie.com. Although 2 years ago when I joined for a month or so, I did have 2 dates within the month. I have also noticed the same people from 2 years ago are still there, same pics, exact same profiles. This time, I think the site baited me with an email from a very attractive member just within a couple of hours from when my profile went up. So I paid for the membership so I could read the email and see the profile, saw the very enthusiastic email, answered it within 24 hrs. and that member has not even logged in for a week and has not responded. It's just suspicious, I have never had that happen on a dating site, if someone takes the time to contact you, and is active on the site, they usually respond within several days, and they login fairly regularly. So I am thinking the site might be baiting.

Yes, I agree and the same thing has happened to me. Also, these same guys that have been on there for more than 3 years have NOT even changed their age. Most men on this site shave 5 to 10 years off their age so that their profile will show up in a younger age group for younger woman. And I know for a fact, these guys are not Marriage material, so something is up with all that.
And just to mention, I have been on E Harmony and they are worse. Another scamming dating site.
I am filing a complaint about them very soon.

Lol I have also been on eharmony few years ago. The only few pointless messages I got was from men who are fat and ugly looking. These men won't have the gut to aproach me in a real life situation yet they have the guts to waste my time on eharmony. As for sugardaddy the website worst now than it was when I tried it 5 ago for 3 month. Full of old member being there 7 to 10 years. One member contacted me with headline, the face that I recognised so basically he aproached me on the SD site 5 years ago lol. I couldn't tell cuz I didn' have a profle pic. So he ask me for a date, on the day he didn't even bother to message me to cancel, he just completely ignored the fact he ask me to meet up that day . He did exactly the same thing to me 5 years ago. Lol

I am also a member of the site! They bait you with fake profiles! I have spoken to several men on that site that suddenly stop talking to me when the time comes to meet. And these messages in your inbox are NEVER there when you have a membership, but as soon as you haven't paid for a month, new messages appear! The people on there are the SAME EXACT PEOPLE and send copy and paste messages! This is all a scam in order to get women to pay for their services. I'm sure 30% of the men are real and pay the membership in order to generate testimonial stories..., but the other ones are grade A BS!

I was a member in 2011. They are a scam with many fake profiles. The men with the real accounts are straight up losers or shady or both! I found out one of the guys I was talking to had filed bankruptcy a few months before he joined the site. He also sent me nude pictures of himself (without warning me) and asked me for some. Lots of creeps and liars! AVOID!

I agree with some of the other review, having said that, there certainly are a lot of men on there that were on there when I was there last which was over a year ago but then so am I again.
My main gripe is the lack of functions considering the price, it's now around £24. There is no mobile app and even when you check the box to stay logged in you are logged off whether you like it or not. As with many other sites there is no private browsing which spares you the embarrassment of clicking on a profile more than once, only to read it again and realise you've seen it but the photo may have changed or you forgot and you now show up on their 'viewed me' multiple times and look like a stalker. for the price there should at least be a decent app and mobile site that keeps you logged in if you choose and functions better. I would say every dating site has its fair share of dysfunctionals and time wasters but there are some genuine guys there, you just have to be patient.
I joined this site not for a Sugar Daddy but because there were more men there in my age group and not all of them are looking for gold diggers so on this count it's ok.

I agree with Kelfel. I, too, was on Sugardaddie.com in 2011 and one of the men that I talked to sounds like the same guy she talked to. I spoke to him several times and looked him up, He had filed bankruptcy as well a few months before we started talking. He ALSO sent me nude pictures without warning and asked for some back. After that, I finally blocked him. I got the feeling something was seriously wrong with him.

The site IS a scam. In addition to airline pilot creep, I was getting messages from men who gave me fake names and lied about their ages and being married. Lot of the guys are straight-up fakes with no money and/or no jobs. Thugs, single fathers, creeps, mentally ill people This site has them all.

I also got the scam emails that were created by the site just as my membership was about to expire.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! STAY AWAY!
