Approximately 1 1/2 years ago, my wife and I purchased a Sweda memory foam mattress form Jeromes furniture. Since the purchase, a large hump has formed in the middle of the bed and the rest of the mattress has lost a significant amount of its support. After filing a warranty claim, Jeromes sent their "mattress professional" out to inspect the mattress. He took photos, completed some measurements and commented on the deformed shape and left. Three days later, we received a letter from Jeromes and the manufacturer SleepTek stating that it was normal for the mattress to react that way and that it was the result of normal wear. Not satisfied with the response, I called Jeromes again to question their decision. They pretty much told me to pound sand and came across as if they didn't care about losing another customer.
I found this to be a huge let down and realized that after they collect your money, they could care less what happens. let this be a lesson to all who would even consider buying a piece of garbage product off of jeromes show room floor. You should be ashamed of yourself Jeromes and rest assured, you will get yours in the end.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have the same problem with the memory foam bed that my husband and I purchased at Jeromes furniture. I have had major back problems since the bed started to wear down. The hump in the middle is very uncomfortable. I have even tried to sleep in the middle for several weeks in hopes that the hump will go down. No luck. My infant cant even sleep in between my husband and I because of the hump. She just rolls over to either side of the hump. We will never buy from Jeromes again.
I have had my Sweda Gran Reserve for about 4yrs now...it was great for the first 3.5, but now it's really killing my back. I wake up everyday with extreme lower back, shoulder and neck pain. To the point where I literally feel bruised, stiff and unable to function. I'm a small framed person so why this bed is breaking down already is beyond me. I'm certain the 10yr warranty won't get me anything in return except a lot of hours chasing people on the phone. It's a shame a $2000 bed can't last for at least as long as the warranty.
I bought TV my sweda mattress 6 years now I got so much back pain I wake up sore hurt and have hard time sitting down at work my back really hurts. I rather sleep on floor to get good night rest than on this sweda mattress from hell.
Agree with everyone here. This mattress is horrible and when I tried to call to see what could be done about it, they couldn't care less, argued with me, and were completely rude and dismissive.
WORST MATTRESS, CAN'T GET JEROME'S TO HONOR WARRANTY. I HAVE SAME PROBLEM AS ORIGINAL POSTER
We purchased a SVEDA mattress as well and though we've had it for over nine years, it has not been slept on for more than a total time of 4 years. It started breaking down more than three years ago with the same problems as mentioned in all of the comments. We are extremely disappointed in the quality.
