Yes let me start off by saying I’m totally disappointed in Synovus and how my whole situation was handled. I called in to repot fraud on my account several charges that I hand know idea was made nor did I give permission to anyone to use my account and make these purchases. 46 total disputes and several overdraft fees that was caused by those fraudulent charges. I was told i would be getting provisional credit for all 46 transactions as well as the all overdraft fees that occurred in result of these Transactions. While they investigated the transactions. With that being said the provisional credits and overdraft fees was over 2000 dollars so it was large amount of money they explained the process to me and what to expect and assured me my account would be fine and I would be able to use it no problem while the investigation is ongoing. Well then I got notified that 31 of the 46 transactions being disputed was credited to my account which equals about 1300 which was no where near what I disputed nor was all the overdraft fee credited back to my account so I called in to see what was going why only 31 of the 46 was credited and why the overdraft fees where not credited back to my account almost 600 dollars in overdraft fees I have the phone call where I called to report the charges i was disputing and paper work from Synovus stated they where giving me the provisional credits and that my over draft fees would credit back to my account as well why the investigation was ongoing so which your company lied to me i have in writing and on phone call I attached copy of letter in mail off one of the 31 provisional so you can read it. I didn’t receive the provisional credits nor the overdraft fees that was promised to me and on top of that my account is now frozen. So not only did all my money get fraudulent used that I called in and reported and was explained that everything would be fine I could still use my account while this process was going on the provisional credits and overdraft fees that I was told I got I can’t use and my account is frozen so my bills rent and my kid’s Christmas i is not going to be paid for because your company lied to me didn’t protect me from fraud in the beginning and is punishing me for something I didn’t due so I want you to explain to me how this is fair to me I report charges on my account i didn’t make I get told my account was fine I would get the provisional credits and the overdraft fees credited to my account with paperwork verified confirmation on what I was told and what to expect to that not being true at all i was mislead and misconstrued under the fair credit act it says as a consumer I’m supposed to be protected by the merchant that trust with my money in instances like this . I feel betrayed and hurt I can’t pay my bills nor buy my kid’s Christmas my rent is overdue so on top of that we are now facing eviction. So I have retained a lawyer and I will be filing a lawsuit on your company based off misleading and false statements from your employees and paperwork from your company stated one thing and your company doing something totally different that’s not fair to my family nor myself to being facing these hardships due to no wrongdoing of my own. I think how your employees are rude your customer service agents that I called were very unprofessional and lack of knowledge and unwillingness to answer questions or help me with the situation as well as misleading and rude treating me like I did something wrong when under the FDIC and Fair Credit Act which Synovus is suppose treat there customers the total opposite I could have chosen many other banks with my money and I wish I would have because i have been treated so unfairly. But I can assure you my lawyer will be reaching out real soon I attached legal paper work from Synovus validating my complaint as well as screen shots of phone calls for over a hour waiting for help getting transferred over over again with no able to give me answers or willing to help me.

Claimed loss: My past due bills our 1200 rent 350 dollar electric bill 90 water bill cell phones and internet bill 120 dollars and the biggest problem my kids Christmas is ruined.

Desired outcome: So I fill the company owes me all the 46 provisional credits and overdraft fees as well as my family’s hardship for not being able to pay the bills nor celebrate Christmas.
