Long time user of TD Waterhouse and Webbroker trading platform.
I do not recommend this service to anyone!
The past couple of years I have seen a deterioration in service level. The site slows down or goes out of service in the first part of the trading day (up to 2 hours sometimes), it continues to generate errors in function like slow order confirmation, blank order page, error page, limited function notification, etc.
I am taking steps to diversify my accounts away from TDWH, which is a pain in the backside. It will also mean reducing my relationship with TD Canada Trust which has been functioning with little to no fault for decades.
Emails to TD Investments does not get much more than an automated reply message.
Desired outcome: Concrete steps to improve function, public announcement of what is being done in real time, refund of trading fees to compensate for system failure

Another reason to stay away from TDWH:
Webbroker is malfunctioning again this morning. Cancelled order in a registered account (per-market open) is stuck in "pending Cancel" status.
Money that was allocated to cover this order is not available for new order(s). A call I placed to TDWH is now on hold (with elevator music) for over 12min (07:24 MST)
TDWH order placement continue. Orders that should go to market automatically, are stuck in "Under Review" process. This delay is exaggerated by, what seems like, staff shortage across the board. The order was confirmed almost 15 minutes after I placed it.

1st Trading day of the month. Thought of adding a positive comment about Webbroker today.
However, there is something wrong with approval of orders for Keyera Energy orders in TSX. An existing Buy (Bid) order is (repeatedly) stuck in "Under Review" cycle that can take as long as 15 minutes to complete and go to market.
Any time the Bid price changes, the cycle repeats. This is the only ticker symbol affected in my order book.

Regarding Webbroker order placement in Registered Account:
Keyera Energy Buy Order does not go directly to market. After completing the process, the order gets 'parked' as "Under Review" for +/-5 min. Same issue was reported to TDWH yesterday.

Intermittent issues with TDWH Webbroker Order platform.
Cancelled order in a registered account continued to show as open, while error (41232, 41274) messages were displayed.
This is not an isolated issue. Another order in a different account had the same issue. The Rep I spoke with said that
...their system is not synchronized properly, so the cancelled order doesn't show "Historical" status

This morning's issues with the trading platform continue.
Cancelled orders do not turn historical. Had to call in to get a cancelled order process completed manually.
***DAYS WITHOUT TDWH WEBBROKER ISSUES: 0***
TD Waterhouse and WebBroker are a Dumpster Fire today.
Orders Confirmations (new, change, cancel) have been delayed, and require the process completed by licensed representative. Considering their slow response (during trading session) in the best of days, I expect a long, long, looong, loooonnnng, wait on the phone line.
Another reason to avoid this portal to the stock markets!
