This man has been harassing me and my son since we moved into his property, first demanding more money than our lease, or "he is in finance and will make my life hell until I get out". That would have caused my son to leave his high school. He refused to deposit my security legally, then 3 months later when I directed it toward rent, he wrote a slanderous letter to my employer who filed a cease and desist. He has harassed and threatened me in e-mail, filed 4 non-payments, collecting nothing. This last he won by default because I came unprepared, without the witnesses to support all the receipts, something HE knew I'd need in court to prove all the expenses. The house is uninhabitable, failed inspection and was recently condemned by FEMA. He has made zero repairs, leaving us to live without drinkable water, repeated 2-3 foot floods, dangerous wiring, no CO. I had to buy all the appliances to have a functional kitchen. The local police had to stop him from threatening me and my son. This will play out in a court of law where he is being sued for the entire amount of the lease plus damages now.
Someone has more than a dictionary. Why not post the court-ordered rent abatement lease addendum, Ted, after fraudulently filing a non-payment? Instead, you LOST $500 per month in rent until such time as you affected a list of urgent repairs strictly based on human habitability, nothing more. You did none of them. What was done finally, was paid for by me so my child and I had a functional toilet, a funtional bathroom sink (only one bathroom in the house), abated the 3 foot flooded basement, etc. You filed 2 more non-payments since then, collecting absolutely nothing. You know I don't owe you anything, that's why you are again resorting to your internet antics. Let's let all these folks see the final outcome, shall we? You didn't *win* an eviction, Ted, FEMA already had us out. We'd been living in the Holiday Inn for weeks while you slept warm and comfortably in your glamorous home in Emporia Kansas, paid for by this one. Post that.
If someone at ATLANTIC HEALTH SYSTEMS has a dictionary, please forward one to SHARON ROTH. I don't think "terrrorizing" (Sharon Roth's bizarre choice of words) is the same thing as being stiffed for rent, then WINNING AN AN EVICTION JUDGEMENT against SHARON ROTH in court while ATLANTIC HEALTH SYSTEMS paid her as an employee, then suing SHARON ROTH personally in court for the $23, 000 in back rent SHARON ROTH legally owes to TED ULAN.

I used to work for Ted and his shrew of a wife Tanya at consumers choice mtg and hold these two in very low regard as human garbage. They are a couple of pieces of trash that deserve everything that is coming to them ten fold. They are guilty of many of DOL/FLSA violations including paying exempt employees as nonexempt, failing to pay overtime wages, and paying employees below the federal and state minimum wages. The down side to them fleeing the state of NJ is that the NJ DOL dept of wage and hours can't find them to contact them about the violations so they get away scott free. These are simply my personal opinions of ted, his wife, and how they conduct business, i encourage everyone to come to their own conclusions of the character of these two but I hope you"ll never have the chance to be disappointed and steer clear of dealing with them.

I used to work for them too with first kansas financial in emporia, ks. As they were "teaching"me how to do my job I realized they were just a couple of scam artist who pray on low income people with bad credit who don't qualify for loans. They find loop holes and get the funds needed but with a huge price! I only worked there for a fewonths because they NEVER paid me! It took 3 months to get one check!
