The Business advertises a service that purportedly accesses a 'non advertised' job market. A resume and introduction letter is mailed to a business and within 72 hours you can expect a contact for interview from a company. In addition, the company provides a resume writing service that is included. The service (Concierge) also includes identification of a web site for postions. Prior to contract signing, it is sold as a proprietary web site. The problems are listed below: The letter campaign is blanketed without any filters. For example, letters were sent to Gentlemen's Clubs in Dallas, the Zoo, etc. With a resume summarizing financial services, the businesses were not a fit. After two mailings there has been no calls for interviews as sold by the Company. The majority of responses refers you to their web site. The purported proprietary web site is available through many other sites. The follow-up with positions identified through the purported proprietary job web site through the Concierge Service was only initiated after I requested status. I also requested to meet with the Concierge staff but was told they were off-site. It appears there is no Concierge Staff. Fortunately, the cost is only $900 and a percent of a signing bonus if exceed 10%. There are other companies like Chandler Hill that charges $11, 000 plus a percent of the salary. Although a less expensive approach, there is a misrepresentation.

I had the same experience with Career Solutions located in the Williams Tower of Houston, TX. I can personally vouch for the legitimacy of these complaints. This company has a bad reputation by their former clients. There is not one single positive review by anyone anywhere on the internet when I wrote this complaint. Do your own research and you will come to the same conclusion as me - SCAM!

Career Solutions (careersolutionsweb) out of the Williams Tower in Houston, TX is completely a scam.
You will be sold on how they will help you locate new employers with secret jobs that are not posted on the web. they will make you feel like you are never going to find a
job without them... then you sign a contract and pay them...
Then, here is what you get... a resume (copied from the resume you give them for their 'research"... and a video that is about 15 minutes long and basically tells you to network. That is it. You will not get a single appointment/interview/call about a potential job. I can personally tell you, they steal your money. Trust me, I went through it... I am a college educated, six figure wage earner for the past 10 years. They got me because they are that good at their sales scam. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.
Alex, Randy, Mark, and the rest of the people at Career Solutions are all con-artists.

First strike: I met with Kent after receiving a ‘thanks for sending your resume call’ - never sent my resume to him or the agency.

Second strike: During my meeting, Kent told me all the things wrong with my LinkedIn profile and resume...though I’ve received stellar reviews from others. Kent asked me to ‘connect’ with him on the LinkedIn platform and I did.

Third strike: After Kent pitched his services and related costs, I explained I was not in a position financially to engage in his services. Kent replies: “yes you can, you’re loaded!”

Fourth strike: Kent offered his fees at a discount (a bit redeeming)...when I told him I was just not in a position to do it at the time, he abruptly hangs up. Then, has the audacity to remove the connection via LinkedIn.

IF, I had the cash, I’d be highly unlikely to ever engage in Texas Career Solutions.
