Top Cleaners at 4400 Brownsville Road in Powder Springs, Georgia. [protected]. They shrunk a Pendleton wool bedspread approximately 12 inches the whole way around, was a queen, now won't fit a double bed. They refuse to refund our dry-cleaning cost and the cost of the wool bedspread. They are listed on the Better Business Bureau as having other complaints from other customers with unsatisfactory outcomes. We will probably end up taking them to small claims court. As you know, a Pendleton wool bedspread is around $300 and is suppose to last a lifetime, we only had it 4 years. We are very upset and disappointed. Thank you.
They ruined a beaded dress that I brough to them to dry clean. When I picked up the dress, the beads were actually hanging from the dress and no one said a word hoping that I would not notice. I brought the dress back and was told that they would have no problem repairing the beads. They told me it would be ready the following Tues. and when I called to make sure it was ready, they said they needed until Thurs. I showed up on Thurs. and the dress had not even been touched! I was told to come back in 3 hours. I did and the beads on the dress were shabbily sewn on with strings showing everywhere. I have been a customer for over 6 years and this is the way I was treated. I asked for a refund and they said no, that they would need more time to fix it. I said no thank you, because it is clear that you don't have a clue how to fix this dress. I asked for a refund again and was told I would need to come back again later that day when he wife would be in and she would decide if I would get a refund. They have lost me as a customer permanently! They are careless and their service is below par.
