Stuart Newing Davis also fondly known as StuRAT along with his wife Sarah Ann Newing-Davis runs a well established con business from Perth, Scotland
The modus-operandi is to hire staffing for large Public Sector and Private owned Rail companies at very low wages. He exploits the staff and when it comes to pay day he just vanishes behind one company or the other.
Interestingly, he has a crooked record which is available on the public domain, yet the “Companies” hire his services ignoring the due diligence that needs to be met in any procurement process. At least that is what all company rule book says...lol
How? Probably even the hirer’s palms are greased for lucrative deals, and they are happy to ignore “This Crooks” shortcomings for their mutual benefits and exploit the hard working people. The irony is that even the system supports him...
His latest Scam:- he has run away liquidating his company “Trainpeople.co.uk ltd” after taking around quarter million of public money...and floats a new company called Rail Force Recruitment Limited, there is nothing one can do about it?
I would suggest hard working people to avoid working for this guys operation, you will never get paid! I have listed the names of all his operations for your records below.

I am sure you know him and have reasons to sympathise...ask those folks who worked for him and never got their wages.
Would you have the same point of view if you worked for someone who did not pay you the wages?

Really unbelievable how you are prepared to condemn someone without knowing any of the facts or giving them a chance to defend themselves. I know this man: he is kind and generous and about as straight as they come - even though staff have been prepared to put the boot in at every opportunity. Maybe that's why companies give him fresh opportunities. The fact that two of the sources you quote are the RMT and the Daily Mirror says it all. I sure hope his lawyers are reading this and sue you for every penny you've got.

I was a very loyal part-time employee who always gave him the benefit of any doubt. However I eventually realised that I was having the wool pulled over my eyes. Then I too was betrayed by this couple. I am still due wages. I was chased by the Inland Revenue for a while until they realised that I was another victim - the PAYE tax deducted from me was not passed on. I know many people who were involved - I do not know anyone with a good word to say. His name has appeared recently in 2 public notices in the press and is sometimes to be found in Perth Sheriff Court rolls.
Wow! Steve Drake sounds awfully familiar! It's a little reminiscent of Steve Dane - one of the StuRats known alias'. I may be wrong but one thing I am certain of; anyone who knows the StuRat and his conduct as a company director (and as a human being in general) would not be fighting his corner. Not to worry though, the StuRat now has his opportunity to silence his critics and show what a good honest gentleman he is. I'm sure he wouldn't dream of missing any of his dates with the Perth Sheriff Court on 28th July and again on 3rd August. After all, what better way for him to explain the series of unfortunate events which have led to him being painted into this villain in the public eye. I'm sure he's very hard done by and am glad he has this chance to clear his name. I just only hope he got the court letters and won't miss out on this golden opportunity!
28th July - he did not appear at Perth Sheriff Court. According to television news a warrant has been issued.
A chap from France has been in touch. He is trying to get money that he is owed. Well, well, well.
Warrent out for his arrest...StuRat will be caught sooner or later.
He was arrested at Perth last week. He appeared at Perth Sheriff Court IN HANDCUFFS. He asked for bail but this was refused and he has been remanded in custody.
Unfortunately the StuRat has now been let out from behind bars.
21st June 2017 at Perth Sheriff Court he was jailed for 32 months for VAT FRAUD. He was led away in handcuffs. See press reports.

This waste of oxygen has a longstanding reputation of being crooked and untrustworthy. Indeed, he served a custodial sentence in the 90s for fraud. It would appear he hasn't changed.
He is a manipulative, sociopathic individual whom no one can trust. Particularly not his wife. Enough said. I hope he rots behind bars.
