Traxxas is misleading the public with numerous lies, an example;right on the box that my car came in "electronics backed by lifetime warranty"|.This is an out and out lie! My electronics quit working and after calling Traxxas' tech dept!. I was told the warranty only lasts 30 days after purchase and that I should send in 25 dollars just to start with/.I also agree that their customer service is a joke;. Go to Texas Attorney Generals office to file a complaint on-line, .It is easy and does not cost anything, also BBB and any consumer advocate group you can find, bring pressure to these money stealing a-holes:.Use Hobbypartz, .com to buy R/c stuff for 75% to 95% off overpriced Traxxas crap.

I could not agree more with the frustration expressed in this post. While I find Traxxas products to be generally excellent, their fraudulent advertising of a 'Lifetime' warranty is deeply misleading and extremely disappointing. I have encouraged several people to choose Traxxas products over others based at least partially on their purported warranty.

I then had the misfortune of actually needing to use the warranty and was informed that I needed to pay $55 for the repair of my 'Lifetime Warranty' product that had failed (ESC fried) after less than 25 hours of use... Incredibly disappointed in the intentional deception that Traxxas has engaged in with regard to their warranty support.

Their billing screws up orders & double charges & ships and won't refund until they process their own returns.

YES YOU ARE ALL CORRECT!
I had two lipo's come in unbalanced and I called TRAXXAS tot ell them and they said to just continually use them and balance charge every time. After a little over 3 months they both puffed and got really hot " never undercharged or overcharged" and they told me that I would have to pay 50% off THERE RETAIL PRICE OF $100.00 a battery EVEN THOUGH THEY sell them for $74.99 a piece!
I told them I bought the battery's under the impression that " We will replace any power cell lipo found to be defective free from cost within a year of ownership". They told me they don't warranty a puffed lipo because that means it was over charged or under charged EVEN THOUGH i told them a million times that, that never once happened and when it was puffed it was at 3.90 a cell roughly.
JUST BECAUSE A LIPO PUFF'S doesnt mean it was under charged or over charged. It obviously shows it was under rated or defective and couldnt supply the adequate power needed to the system it was running and that is why it was puffed!

They are getting over on there own consumer! They say they also have alifetme replacement TRADE UP program BUT they charge you the FULL VALUE of whatever item you buy PLUS you have to send in your old one. They also advertise they use CASTLE CREATIONS PRODUCTS but dont honor castle creations warranty.
I would love to get a group of peopel to continually post reviews and situations out there on the internet so that consumers know how these people are treating there customer! I have doen a BBB review and at least 10 others...I get it BUT they dont have to d it like that! They know they are wrong they just wont admit it. Plain and simple...I would of paid 50% off REATIL OF WHAT I BOUGHT THEM FOR AND WHAT THEY SELL THEM FOR! That would of been fair and they stil would of made money but NOPE they want that DOLLAR!
