I called Tri-Cap today to find out what the criteria was for getting fuel assistance. A gentlemen answered at Tri-cap and I proceeded to explain to him that national grid asked me to call them to see if I was eligable for some fuel assistance till my husband returns to work. The gentleman huffed and puffed and told me the gross amount for one person then I asked him for 2 persons and he said "OH BOY" like I was stupid and began to tell me. Then I asked him what is the process for the paper work and he told once I found out the gross amount to call them back and make an appointment. Then I heard a click.
Thanks Tr-Cap I understand everyone is looking for some kind of assistance but to be treated with disrespect is unacceptable, I didnt ask for my husband to get laid off from his job, nor did I. I was just asking for some information that was it.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I jusr read this complain today. It's so weird, but I also worked for Fuel assistance for another agencie, her in Mass, and when I call the Tri Cap, I passed for the same situation, I just want to find out if I have to make an app. or just give some informations by phone, to receive my aplication in home, as we do where I work. The guy was EXTREMELY rude. I told him I was "going to do some questions, then his answer me "I have no time to answer questions". At this point I told him I work with the same exactly kind of service, but no one, was suppose to treat people at the way he was treat me on The Communitty Action I work, he gots more upsed and said I have no right to judge his job. I answer to him, Yes I DO, because, I'm not just a Client, I can say I'm a Work on the some field, that's why I was good enough to judge his job. His turn the phone off on my face. Persistent I call back and request to talk with his supervise Sandra, his told me she was in lunch, "At 3:00PM"? Once our lunch runners from 12 to 1 pm. I ask to leave a message on her voice mail, he's turned off again. Until I decide don't call back again.
Once those kind of jobs are seasonal, I hope for the next season The TRI CAP in MALDEN, have a good sense for don't call this person back, but give a chance for who wants to work and have at least a reasable custumer service.
Because this I'm not going back to apply for my Benefits, this year. Afraid to be slap, for someone like him
