Tropicana have been changing the net fluid content of their OJ's without a clear visual note to the consumer...they have done it with the 128oz going to 96oz and now the 64oz going to 59oz... They need to be an honest company and let the consumer know that they are keeping the same (or similar) packaging size but are reducing the net weight. Consumers have the right to know they are getting less!
Shame... I will be looking for alternate options for my OJ and other juice products...
I noticed the change in ounces about a month ago, & have since stopped buying all "Tropicana" products. I think I'll have stickers made to put above their products @ the markets stating:
"SAME TASTE, SAME SIZE, LESS O.J."
Their products should be cheaper anyway, since they use less expensive imported, as well as domestic citrus products.
"Florida's Natural" is a much better product, all US made, & competitively priced.
Most companies are doing this right now. It's just a way to cut costs.
