On 12/11/2023 I was approached, in the Caledon Casino, by a Casino employee, Robin de Bruin. She came and asked if I would like to participate in the Slots Tournament which would take place on 8 and 9 December 2023.
I asked her twice, just to confirm her response, what the R3000 package included.
Ms. Robin de Bruin stated that the R3000 included the 2-night hotel stay (8-10 December) which she would book and reserve for me at the hotel desk, arrival food and drinks, a Gala night, and the tournament.
I reiterated what she said, so not to be incorrect.
I have been attempting to call Caledon hotel, search my reservation online, call Tsogo Sun in Johannesburg, send emails, et cetera.
None of my attempts have been fruitful.
I would like assistance in this matter, please.
Claimed loss: R3000
Desired outcome: I request that the R3000 be refunded as I was given false information.In addition, Tsogo Sun Casino should be reprimanded and fined for falsely representing the Slots Tournament.
