As of today, March 14,2024, I just learned that my Twitter/x account had been suspended for reasons unknown. I haven't even been on twitter/X for days, and when I do finally come back onto the platform, I find this out. I did absolutely nothing wrong, yet, I come back to this. I had not been on any social media platforms for the past several days as I was working hard on various projects. I'm at a loss and I feel that this confirms the fact that no matter what I do, I get penalized. I get penalized when I post. I get penalized when I don't post. I even get penalized when I haven't even been on the platform.

Up until today, I have not even been on the platform since February 25th, and when I do finally try to get into my account, I find that I've been suspended. I find this to be highly unfair, and I feel like I'm being personally attacked as an author, a game developer, and as an individual. I see many people promote their work on the platform, yet they don't get penalized. I, on the other hand, have gotten penalized for it. I've also gotten penalized for supporting fellow creatives and other followers which is also unfair. I AM NOT A BOT! How many times must I stress that? Just because I don't have the blue checkmark, doesn't mean that I'm not real. Furthermore, I find it to be highly frustrating that I've been getting penalized needlessly for just being me. They claim that they want to crack down on bot accounts, yet they allow girl bot accounts to be promoted, just because they have their precious blue checkmark. Where's the logic in that? I couldn't even do an ad promotion for my holiday themed book because it was supposedly not eligible. There was absolutely NOTHING offensive whatsoever in the book, it was a wholesome, family-friendly holiday themed book. I couldn't promote it, yet an inappropriate book, a girl bot account, and filthy, disgusting only fans could be promoted. This is completely unfair, seeing as being an author is a huge part of who I am. I'm getting penalized for being me. Furthermore, I as I stated earlier, I have not even been on the platform for several days because I was busy working other things. I find it to be a whole new low when a person is being penalized when they haven't even been on the platform. It's unfortunate that I feel like nothing will be done and I will go on being ignored just because I'm not "big and popular." It's also disappointing that it's gotten to this point. I once thought that twitter/x was a place where I could share my work and just be me, but apparently, I was wrong.

The more I think about this situation and the more I investigate this matter, the more I realize that I had done absolutely NOTHING WRONG. Up until this point, I had not even been on the platform since February 25th. That was MORE THAN TWO WEEKS AGO, therefore, there was no way whatsoever I was doing anything to merit this. I have NEVER done anything harmful while on the platform. I am not a bot. I do not spread or promote hate. I try to be respectful to others and I've tried to do the best I could at showing fellow creatives, friends, and followers support. The fact that my account was suspended while I wasn't even on the platform upsets me even more. I should be able to share and promote my work, seeing as that is a huge part of who I am. I've noticed that some can get by with doing pretty much anything while others get penalized for stupid reasons. Furthermore, I've noticed that certain accounts can promote their books on several writers lifts and not be penalized whatsoever, even though they post similar posts on various threads, yet they can get away with it, simply because they have the blue mark on their profile. Having that mark doesn't make people "better" or more "relevant" than others. No, it just displays all the more how this so-called "free speech" isn't really free at all.

Claimed loss: My account has been suspended without reason while not even on the platform, and I have lost access to all my tweets/repostsThe last time I was on the platform was 2/25/24 which was over 2 weeks ago

Desired outcome: I would like for my account to be reinstated and I want it to be as it was before it was suspended. I would also like for Twitter/x to stop penalizing creatives for sharing their work.

As of today, March 16,2024, I learned that apparently spreading hate and the sending of threats is okay on the platform because an account which was sending threats to several people had been reinstated, meanwhile, I can't even get any response when I inquire about my account which was suspended. I've seen the disturbing things this account was posting, targeting several people with malicious, hateful, and threatening comments, yet their account is no longer suspended. These posts/comments were making some of the people who were targeted feel threatened and afraid, yet, they allowed the account to be reinstated. I did nothing like that. I tried to be supportive and respectful toward others, yet I was penalized for doing nothing. As I had stated, the date of my suspension (March 14), I posted nothing. I truly feel that my rights as a human being have been violated. Also, I also know that there are several accounts that post 15 to 30 of the same thing within a two hour period, yet they're not penalized. There was one in particular that posted 36 of the same thing within a one hour period, but that's not considered "spam" and they're not shadow banned, locked out of their account, or suspended and it's because they're verified. I feel devalued as a human being because what I say doesn't matter and they act like I don't deserve to be seen or heard because I'm "small" and not verified. I feel that my freedom of speech has been trampled on for no reason whatsoever. It also sends a message and shows that freedom of speech on Twitter/x is not free and that you have to pay to be heard, otherwise you're looked down upon and treated unfairly.
