Filed unemployment insurance November 8, 2010. Spoke to a claims officer named Ms. Nelson who asked what my position was ansd what am I applying for unemployment. I told her my job was outsourced and stated that I did receive a payout. she asked about a pension, I do not have pension i have a 401k of which I rolled over. Apparently, when I filled the unemployment survey out online they said I checked pension. I spoke to Ms. Nelson directly and stated that the company PAID ME OUT. I have called unemployment for a week and they stated that Ms. Nelson has not put in a decision. I have called the Director of Human Resources, Fidelity to which my 401k is rolled over in, and they stated I do not have a Pension, is a 401k and they are trying to understand WHY would that have anything to do with the filing of unemployment insurance. I have been laid off my my job before and never had to fax my termination letter over to a claims officer. They are holding my claims because of a "mistake" in the system that was checked. I spoke to Ms Nelson and told her I DID NOT have a pension. I have a 5 year old son and no job, I need my insurance and talking to everyone except Ms. Nelson who happens to have a Trenton Area Code Number. I am asking that someone look into this AS SOON AS possible, i have a child to take care of. Everyone is giving me the run around and I am tired

This self service line continuously hangs up on you and there is never anyone available to speak to. I have been referred to the phone service on multiple occasions by the online system and it is pointless. They don't even allow you to leave a call back number. How am I supposed to do anything when I'm not allowed to do it online and I can't get through on the phone. That is some serious idiocracy. Someone please explain.
