This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I wanted to download a film, as advertised on Google. I went on their site, signed up for what I thought was a 7 day trial for $1.99.
I received an email saying I'd been charged over $55 for a bunch of things besides this.
I called their number (who knows where in the world), and was told I didn't "un-check" these things, and there was now nothing I could do.
It would take 5 to 10 Business days (that's 2 weeks, folks), to get a refund, except for that original $1.99 .
I called PayPal, they said the company could just stop the whole thing, since there had been no payment made yet.
I recalled the company, asked for a Supervisor, got a big story, got mad, and was hung up on.
I called again, got a nice person, who said the refund should come sooner, which it did.
Meanwhile, I have attempted on MANY occaisions to use my 7 day trial, which I paid for, and KNOW WHAT?
I CAN NEVER LOG ON, NEVER DOWNLOAD ANYTHING!
I JUST GET PAGES SAYING NOT AVAILABLE, PAGE DOWN TRY LATER, ...BLAH BLAH
You get the idea.
This is a complete SCAM!
Google should knock them off right now!

unrestrictedownloads.com and Csinfohome.com
this is a fraud
id 175832090720003436390
I was expecting to be charged 24.88 € as I was registrating when I saw that I would be charged 65.19 €. I tried to stop the registration but it was impossible.
It is impossible to contact unrestrictedownloads.com so I sent a mail to Csinfohome.com. I do not know if I' ll get an answer.
I want the registration to be canceled and my money back

Unrestricteddownloads are scam artists who have lured me in with the 26.95 lifetime unlimited download offer. After agreeing to the purchase additional charges were added without my acknowledgement bringing the total to 66.31 . Bottom line: I want my money back/ this site had to generate from somewhere with an IP Address. I need info on how to retrive there IP Address and if Anyone who has been scammed by them to post there info on what actions you took to get your money back and I will do the same. Thanks!

Similar problem. Agreed to 1 year subscription. Found out other unauthorized charges had been added. Could not go back in "check out" process to remove extra charges. Didn't finalize transaction, but withdrawl still made from my bank account. Equally as maddening was that my bank, CAPITAL ONE BANK, even after contacting them in writing and on the phone, claimed that they could do nothing before the money had actually been removed out of my account. Of course, once the cash was out of my account, the chances of getting it back are practically nil. What kind of imbeciles came up with that system? Unrestricteddownloads/Freeesoftdownloadz replies to my emails by offering reduced fees, but I don't want these parasites to have a single cent of mine. We're at the mercy of theives and idiots.

Hello Guys... Use their support tab in the website .. Open a Ticket with them.. and write some good mails with threatening them that you will be going to file a cyber crime against them.. They did the same with me.. they creadited 66$ instead of 26$.. I was behind the support team.. I wrote some good mails stating that i am gonna move legally... Today i got my money back ... they credited back the amount eventhough the communication process was irritating me.. Try it..

Bank disputes can only made once the money got moved from your account.. But its a long lasting process. If you can push the support team hard... i am sure you will get your money back...

Hi Guys, same happend to me. unrestrictedownloads.com just rip me off. I do quick check of their server ip:

Your IP Address: 63.243.188.103
IP Address Hostname: download2.marketengines.com

Looking from their server location they are in Montreal, Canada. In their support page, their supported language are only English and French...what a nice match!

It is hosted on same server which host marketengines.com which is another rip-off site. it link to securityonlinesite.com, munky.com.

same happened to me. These guys are thieves! Some minutes back, I entered a subscription and i was billed 27$ from my credit card. Fortunately my bank phoned me and i asked them to cancel the payment, They said that it was impossible to do so because the transaction was on. The least i could do was to call at my bank and fill up a dispute charge! I am going to do that tomorrow.

First off it 'denies' you access, then asks you to register and pay a 'one off fee of only $1.99 for unlimited downloads over a 7-day period'... only to lead you to a fake P2P program download and not an actual torrent! Complete waste of time and money if you ask me. Stick to PirateBay.org and isoHUNT.

After I closed their website once, it will not open again. One good thing about my bank, though, and that is that they will not allow any transactions without a phone number attached, which they always display on my online balance sheet. The number attached to the charge for unrestrictedownloads.com is [protected]. I called and, of course, they do not take calls on weekends, although they said that they are available 24 hours a day by email. Of course, they did not state just what that email address might be, and all of those that I have tried thus far to cancel this mess simply bounce right back to me.

My sister is an FBI agent who works with electronic consumer fraud, especially that coming out of Canada, which is one of the worst countries of all, even worse than Africa for this sort of thing. Does anyone have an email address or online address that will allow access of the account?

If you want to see something scary, google the IP address, 63.243.188.103. That will take you to a web hosting site, but my guess is that the same person runs ALL 21 plus websites on the account there, as they are all just far too similar to one another not to clearly speak of fraud- freemusicdownload, unrestrictedownload, yourmusicaccess, etc...

Do please note, I was able to get an email through on two different addresses directly related to the financial accounts of unrestrictedownload.com, and they have not- at least did not immediately- bounce, although I do not know if it will do any good in the long run, or not. Plus, there is nothing to stop them from bouncing the messages back to me after they have been read. Still, it might be worth giving it a try and I'll let you know what happens from my side of things:

The email addresses are:

info@MYMP3DOWN.COM

customerservice@MYMP3DOWN.COM

Note that it seems to be case specific. (And don't forget that phone number is [protected].)

I got ripped by these people as well. I registered for a 7-day trial for $1.99, to which they added unauthorised charges and charged me $55. The original site I wanted to subscribe to was www.rapid4me.com. From there I was redirected to the unrestricteddownloads.com site.

Ok revision to my last comment... right after I spoke with them (10 minutes after signing up for a 7 day trial fr $1.99) they charged my account $49.83, and $48.82. My bank said they can do nothing (as usual), and to speak with the company. The bank said "I'm sorry but when you hit the agree button, you agreed to the terms. I read the terms. They said NOTHING about charging me these sums, and neither did the company, MP3-down.com, or their channel of money, U-bill.com. I called 5 times and got the same answer. They don't see a listing for these charges.. (this is when I get upset). They are going to steal my money, and then claim they don't even know what I'm talking about?!?! They told me to email the supervisor at supervisor@upbill.com with my bank statement. I have done this and I'm now waiting for an answer.

Here was the text in the my email:

Dear Sir or Mam,

Thank you for allowing me to speak with you about the below transactions. I have included them as part of the instructions received by your friendly customer support team. Please review these transactions and refund these amounts as soon as possible. If the refund is not sent by close of business today, I will receive additional fees from the bank, which I would then have to pass on to you for payment. Thank you for your keen attention to this error, and I hope you have a good week. I understand the billing system is experiencing some technical fallacies, and I can relate to that. Please let me know if you need further information so we can expedite this process. As long as I receive the refund in the time frame mentioned, I will not be required to file a fraud report with the FBI. Thank you.

This is fraud, plain and simple. They are misrepresenting their services on their webpage, taking the money, and then you get stuck with crap you didn't even want. Their services are all on the web for free anyway, and all their movies are shareware. However, you can file criminal charges against them with the FBI as another victim mentioned above, and this is what I am doing now. These guys have several different business names, domains and IP addresses to continue their business on innocent victimes. I called my bank and got a new Visa card, then I signed an affidavit swearing the charges were fraudulent. I only agreed to pay $1.99 for a 7 day trial, not a lifetime of crap I didn't need. Their "AWARD WINNING TECHNICAL TEAMS" don't even exist...there are no support techs, and they will block you from the website after you have left a few "Support tickets". If they have no phone numbers listed on their website, no email addresses or contact information other than going to the website, BEWARE! I agree that we all should turn them in to the FBI as a valid scam, running their fruadulent behavior on the internet and who knows where else?

I agree with the person who thinks we should file a fraud report with the FBI. I have.
I cancelled my visa card used in the transaction, then got a new one, and filed an affidavit swearing I had not agreed to the charges above the $1.99. However, these guys are criminals, as they have intentionally misrepresented themselves as a ligitimate business, with the intent to defraud. If all the victims take the same action against these guys, they will go down. Victims can be compensated in a court of law, but otherwise...they just go on doing what they do...stealing from people who believe them. I also had my computer tech remove all the software that had been downloaded through this transaction, and found out that these guys had sneaked in a Trojan file to gather all my information off my computer. So, they are not just guilty of cheating us on this particular website. They have to have reasons for wanting that information right? I'm in good shape now, but I'm not bothering with contacting them anymore, they are criminals, and they won't give any money back, no way. Just turn them in...and file charges against them. They are no better than any of the other criminals I've put away.

Very unhappy! I searched for a game download for Mac and was directed to this site. Looked like a day trial for $1.99 and I was wiling to pay that for the game I wanted. I ended up with MP3 and iTunes and not able to get the game also the charge was over $34. When I tried to email them because NO phone # could be found anywhere on the site, the email address was not valid. Finally I was able to contact them through the email confirmation of my membership, I told them of my problem and told them I wanted to cancel, I couldn't get the game, and it wasn't what it said. They offered it to me for less money $20... I said no, it isn't what I want. So then it was a non refundable $4.95 charge. I said, I haven't downloaded anything, haven't even gone through the processes because I didn't want MP3 or iTunes and they said sorry, it was a non refundable charge. I was not happy...what a scam!

I agree what a scam! I wanted a movie and wanted the 7 day trial and also got added charges. Thanks to all of you who are more technically inclined and found the phone # and the IP address. I too will file with the FBI. They kept my money and no service was rendered. If any of us do that we would have to pay back or go to jail, so should they. Also, thanks for the info about the card, I will aks the bank to send me a new one too.

I did same mistake, I wish I could read before I made final purchase for trial period. On web it appears $1.99 for 7 days but they charged me $12.85 for 7 days. I called my bank and they said nothing can be done unless payment is posted and we can dispute this later. I got customer care number of unrestricteddownloads.com which is [protected]. I called them up and blasted over them. They said they are going to refund me $10.80 as they took out $1.99 for one day, even though I did not download anything. I am not sure if my money will be deposited in my bank account but I cancelled credit card.

unrestricteddownloads.com is not what they say they are. They have stupidly designed software/website and for your surprise once you logged in you can not see 'logout' button. What a joke!

Thanks for reading and let us keep continue.
