US Asset Management Inc. review: Fraudulent collection notices

I receive on a regular basis a letter from US Asset Management Inc. indicating that I owe Verizon a certain amount but that they would take a lesser amount to resolve the debt. I do not owe Verizon and I pay on time every month and even when I am late, I call Verizon and pay them. I called them once and spoke to a foreigner who refused to give me much information. I told them if I ever received another notice like this, I would send it to my Governor. I have received two in a row, and just got off the phone with Verizon and they have verified that my account is up to date and that I do not have anything outstanding. I am sending the letter to my Governor so his office can conduct an investigation.
