Due to financial hardship with COVID I am unable to make payments and was informed that if I give the car back I would still be responsible for the entire amount owed on the vehicle. I would receive a 10-99 form and they would take my income taxes. The representative told me since I have been making all of my payments on time since I purchased the vehicle she could give me a one month extension and then payments will be due. Very hard to do giving that there isn't a guarantee that I will be able to make payments in that short window. So if I return the car they said I am still responsible for the balance left on the vehicle even if the car is leased out again to someone else. This is double dipping and should be illegal to gain twice from one vehicle. They can sell the car and whatever they lease it out for minus what I owe should be what I would owe to them. This company sticks you in a contract that you will never be able to get out and you will never be able to own the car once you have paid the lease off. You either have to give it back or pay a lot more just to get the title. This company should be shut down and investigated for the false advertisement and sales that they do to get your money. You can't even trade the car in at a reputable car dealership if you wanted to get a newer car. Just pathetic and a lesson learned about these types of car dealerships. I just want to give the car and once it is leased only pay the difference between what I owe and what it was leased out again for.

Both have closed permantly and filed chapter 7 bankruptcy.
Now, here are the customers who weren't informed in any legal manner of any closing of the business. There's no way customers could decide what they would do next due to no notification.
These contracts were all based upon predatory lending and took advantage of the desperate customers to begin with. I don't see how on earth anyone can't see that ACC deliberatley and illegally sold the loans and the attached unfulfilled contracts to a company out if California. Now, how on earth can that company service ACC when ACC don't exist and that the business contract is breeched and by ll means VOIDED OF ANY VALIDITY.
This is unconstitutional. I supose if it's a leased vehicle then where are we to go for an upgrade free of charge ( least the could do so far) nope, I'm not doe. These automobiles fianaced are all chapter 7. We woke up one day and they don't exist so you tell me and I mean make this make sense how in the world west lake has any legal right to collect. Oh and we Xi tasted west are portfolio to make sure payme ts were able to be auto pay and they still caled my phone over 8 times in one day. My oh my you'd think I got sent to this collection agency for nonpayment when I the customer was the one defaulted by the wntire contract of the illegal predatory business and now further scrutiny from West lake portfolio who in my opinion jumped the gin on "servic8g" forAcc. What a joke but watch this unfold soon. Not the way they planned I'm sure.
