I purchase a bedroom suite last year sometime and they offered me insurance just in case something happen to my furniture. My bed broke so I call Badcock to file a claim so they directed me to The Insurance they provided me. I call on June 5th 2020 to put in my claim. Nick my agent told me someone will contact me about the status of my claim. You think I received a call? No. So I contact them 2 weeks later to check on status and my claim hasn't event been to sent for approval. So I call the Badcock store where I purchase my items and I spoke with the manager Ms.Teresa. She did email cooperate and she did find out the claim has been approve but my parts still haven't been ordered. Ok, so this is a whole month now I'm sleeping on the floor. So Teresa order my parts and told me it should be on her next truck. Ok I call today, they still don't have my parts. The manager made the comment I might have to wait several of trucks before I'm able to get the parts. I literally have to wait another whole month. Basically, the insurance is not worth it. They have you wait all this time before they fix your furniture but its not a problem to collect the monthly payments. Which the insurance is not free its included in my monthly payments. I talk to a customer service and they told me they will lower my payment to $65.00 from $150.00 this month. The thing is that's not helping me because I still have to pay the difference. Interest is added onto my account daily. So that $85.00 difference is not a credit they just pushing it to the next month and making my payment plan a 1 month and 1/2 longer which mean more interest is added to my balance. So, nothing is getting done in a timely matter. The insurance is full of it and Badcock is not making even better but they still want they payment. I wouldn't purchase anything from them and I defiantly wouldn't purchase the insurance because your furniture will be paid off by the time they fix it. Even the insurance company tried to tell me I have to pick up the parts and put it together myself when the parts come in. No, I'm not. That's what I paid that $99.00 delivery fee them to put it together. After I talk to customer service today they kept sending me to the wrong department after I been on hold for the longest. The last person suppose to been transferring me to the right department hung up on me. Now I'm on hold again its been 45 minutes and still haven't talk to anyone. If you thinking about buying anything from them don't do it.
