I contacted the service manager Dustin Shepherd on 26th of October to ask questions about the work done on my car. I spent $6000 on a car worth $3000. They had the car about 10 days. I was provided a loaner with no complaints. I left him a message on his voice mail. I saw the parts that were taken out of my car and I wanted a more thorough answer of how that could happen, how to avoid it in future and about how they diagnose such damage.
No response first day.
I call again on the 27th only because I wanted him to realize I did not take pictures of the damage to the flywheel of my manual gear shift and I wanted all parties involved to have a "fresh mind" on what was observed during it all. My "advisor" told me I could take the parts once done but I did not do this to my regret.
Still no response. 29th of Oct I contact the "Subaru customer advocacy department" HAHAHA. You guys are funny. You named this department in hopes we would believe you care about our complaints. You do not.
It is now 04 Nov. No response from advocacy that is 3000 miles away but more importantly, NO response from service manager that is 25 miles away.
This is my first Subaru. Due to the experience with this service manager I will NEVER buy, rent, lease, share, give away, recommend another Subaru in my life. I will drive this car until it dies, will have it maintained somewhere else, then take it to the nearest car crusher to be demolished.
There in will lie my experience with Subaru.
You and your stupid "love" commercials. There is no building of community here in Phoenix, no trust. Go ahead and live in your imaginary life where dogs drive and everyone is happy.
You've got problems you didn't even know you had.
It starts with customer service.
Very bad, very bad.
How I want this resolved?
I want Dustin Shepherd to explain to me why I was charged twice to have my transmission removed. The first time it was removed was to replace the clutch. The damage that was discovered with the flywheel was an indication the transmission should be checked. But no, they put the new clutch in, followed by transmission. Then with the test drive it was clear the problem was not fixed. Soooo they charge me labor again to take out transmission (according to my advisor) to only then find out transmission was damaged as well.
This leads me to believe there is no accountability to work done, no double check, no relationship to damage investigated only more and more and more labor charged.
I will request a refund to labor charged for the bad diagnosis of transmission related to damage found with clutch assembly.
I am extremely disappointed in Subaru. Maybe you spend too much time trying to get us to love you rather than respect you.

once again, I should not have to create an account to submit a complaint. Do you require this in hopes most of us are too lazy to create an account?
Bad business all around,
DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND YOUR OWN COMMERCIALS?
LOVE PROMISE, Right...THERE IS NO COMMINUTY RELATIONSHIPS BEING BUILT HERE IN PHOENIX. DO TELL ME, DOES THAT MATTER TO ANY OF YOU?
