My family stayed in this hotel a few days ago and I can truly say it was the worst experience! First off there were cockroaches crawling up from the sink and bathtub drains, gross. But even worse there was a needle hidden in between the toilet seat cover! Thankfully it was noticed and no harm was done to myself of my family! But who knows what could have happened. Upon bringing this to the attention of the front desk staff they argued with us and simply stated there was nothing they could do about it! After some more arguing they finally moved us to a different room in the middle of the night. Your front desk staff need a serious attitude adjustment! We did not receive a discount, a room comp, not even a simple apology...nothing. Your in the hospitality business and your service was shameful how dare you put myself and my family's lives In Danger and shrug it off as no big deal! You should be very ashamed! Customer safety should be your number 1 priority no exceptions! I will NEVER stay at this place or any hotel associated with it ever again!

I understand we get what we pay for, but the first thing is the hotel stunk..While walking up the steps it has a nasty smell..Second thing, my sister has taught me to check for bed bugs..Was there bed bugs, I don't know. All mu husband and myself saw was somebodies long black hair...I asked for my money back then was. told i could have different room.I said fine but just the smell of the halls made me gag..I would like someone to call me I am trying to get my money back...I checked out of that hotel and stayed further away from my destination and paid more...The gentleman at the desk wasn't friendly at all.I have tried calling hotel several times but no answer.
The city health department can make them clean up. Also, EconoLodge is part of Choice Hotels. Choice has standards and if you make complaints, they can force the motel to clean up or lose their franchise. It is obvious that the owner does not want to waste money paying workers to clean his motel.
This was the dirtiest motel I have ever seen. Bed Bugs, people standing around drinking
Very disturbing to drive 1200 miles and be met with this. Don't stay here.
This is the worst hotel I've ever! We were quoted the wrong rate, our A/C smelled like someone had urinated in it, our refrigerator didn't work and it had a dirty towel inside it. My husband is a turbine mechanic for GE so we travel a lot and we never stay at the Econo Lodge ever again!
