The manager at this Vons. I think is name was Jerri? Made me and my service dog leave.
He asked me if she was a service dog then he asked me what service does she provide... being caught off guard I just said emotional support. However she is an actual service dog and provides a service I'm embarrassed to say out loud in front of strangers.
Thinking just saying emotional support animal would be fine because she has been in the particular Vons about 25 times with no issue.
I'm under the I'm pressing employees are not suppose to ask what the service she provides. I know they are allowed to ask if she is a service dog, for which I said "yes"
So "Jerri" made me leave because I didn't provide him with a good enough answer. It was embarrassing and after spending 10s of 1000s of dollars there I do not think I will return.
The real answer is that she is trained to tell me to take my depression meds because I become severely and debilitating depressed at times. I wasn't about to tell the the whole store that. So just wanted you to know.
Tell Jerri thanks, and now I need to find a new place to shop.
