It"s mostly about the store empolyees. They purposely ring me inwhich I hav e to wait my turn again, bag groceries and make the bags very heavy, make you wait for long periods of time for service in Customer Service Area, rude raising their vocies, take other customers first eventho I was standing at the counter first.
Just for U tag on merchandise but not in COUPONS and DEALS. Have to take a photo and show to cashier who complains about it making it look like its my FAULT, wants me to load it to my card. WHAT! HEY NUCKLEHEAD IF YOUR COMPANY TOOK OFF THE TAG OR HAD THAT ITEM ON THE JUST 4 YOU I WOULDN'T TAKE A PHOTO OF IT.

Me and 15 yr old daughter was assualted in store on 04/27/2024 around 5:00pm. We were confronted by a manager of store located eastlake parkway, was accused of being someone else and that I was told never to come in the store. I just currently moved to area and never was told not to come in store. she proceeded to grab basket while me and daughter and then said we did not pay for items. The manager never asked to see reciept or find out which register we went through just started to grab basket I tried telling her she has mistaken me for someone else and she became more irate. she then proceed to tell us to get some of the things and to leave the store on goes were looking and starting to comment on the way the way we were being treated as I attempted to grab items out cart because employee was holding it I was grabbed by employees friend hit and thrown to ground my daughter was trying to stop attacker he grabbed her hair and threw her to the ground while this was going on your employee stood and video taped with phone and attacker said to her he was tired of her gettting harrass before the police could arrive attacker walks away. Patron heard the hit and began recording everything after retrieving my daughter from ground we were asked by on lookers were we ok meanwhile the employee picking food up that were knocked out or hands when were thrown by employees friend to the ground patrons called police not employee and she witnessed everything recorded it on her phone] we were standing inside the door awaiting for the police and making sure my daughter was ok when your employee said to me if we needed food we should go get food stamps and tells us to leave strore, we were so afraid we just left without any food items the patron that supplied us with video said she attempted to go in and ask the manager what happened and was yelled at an told the store has nothing to do with and leave store. when i contacted police and they came to speak with me about incident the only thing they were told was that i was shoplifting and were not proviced with video your employee took to help catch the person that assualted me and my daughter we provided a video she also did not tell them she knew the attacker

Why is it so difficult for so many employees at the Vons store in San Luis Obispo to say "hello" and "thank you". Service at that store is so inconsistent. The remodel is wonderful but I prefer shopping a other grocery stores in town because of their consistently good customer service.
I was at the Vons San Luis Obispo store on 2/13/2013 and my cashier, Deena ( a Supervisor?) did not acknowledge me or thank me at all. Her entire conversation was with a co-worker. I understand we all have bad days and get busy with other things, but if supposedly the customer comes first, a simple "HI" or "Hello" and "Thank You" at the end of the transaction is all I ask for. I do not expect to engage in conversation.
I have to say though that there are some long-term employees in that store that are friendly, courteous and always acknowledge me as a customer who has been going to that store for almost 12 years. If other stores like Costco and Trader Joe's can provide excellent customer service why can't Vons?

I regularly go to the Vons pharmacy at 7895 Highland Village Place, San Diego, CA 92129.
Few times during this year, this pharmacy stated that they are not seeing any medical coverage for me in spite of me giving my insurance id to them.
I called my pharmacy benefits company and my health plan few times when they stated I am active.
Upon talking to the pharmacy benefits company, I understood that the Vons pharmacy was putting in the dependent code 01 along with my insurance id and that is why they submissions did not go through.
For example, on January 19th evening around 5 pm, I went to vons pharmacy to pick up medication for my dependent and the pharmacist, an Asian american lady stated that I don't have coverage. When I called my pharmacy benefits on Monday, January 22nd morning, they stated that I have active coverage. The pharmacy benefits company also said they did not see a claim submitted by Vons on January 19th.
I called Vons pharmacy again on January 22nd and asked the young man who attended the call, to try to run my son's prescription through insurance and he did it right away without a problem.
Basically, the people who work at this location are not careful and not courteous to customers.
Another time, I called them to fill in an Epipen prescription that was sent by my son's doctor around 11 am. The young man at the pharmacy told me to come after 2 pm.
At 4 pm, I got a call stating "they do not have epipen". This is another instance where a patient is having difficulty due to their negligence
Claimed loss: I paid $7 to pick up 3 pills for few days since the pharmacy said there was no insurance coverage for me.

I have never seen a more disrespectful store director. I had an employee helping me and not only did the store director not properly pull him aside to converse with him about his personal issues; they started yelling at them in front of employees and customers about their personal business. I found that highly rude and disrespectful for a director of all people to be doing in public at a store. The employee didn’t even finish helping me cause I could see they were visibly distraught and embarrassed at the confrontation. I really hope that Vons reaches out because that was the worst thing I have seen from a person in charge and it highly discouraged me from coming back to this location.

Self checkout front desk
Date 11/23/2023 at 10:53am I paid my merchandise at the self checkout. I was walking out when I almost slipped and I stopped and looked down and a clear plastic bag on the floor under my foot. Three of your employees standing right in front of where the bag was not one of them picked it up and try to make your a safe place to walk. You have three irresponsible employees who will not make your store safe and free from hazards like if they wanted me to slip and fall on purpose. I would like to shop in a safe and Hazzard free store where I don't have to be worried about danger.
