United Education Institute [UEI] - false advertiment

my daughter went there for medical billing and was told she would have a job in a few month's she was a perfect student on time never missed a day passed all test an awarded certificates and now no job no help from personal and now we are stuck paying back thousands of dollars so what can I do about the false advertisement that know.has left us in debt.

I went to UEI located in Huntington Park California in 1996 and at that time there policy was guaranteed to help you find a job. The programs were outdated and i didn't know any better i just wanted to get a career and a job to get off welfare. The State of California came out to check out the school and the computers and printers did not work and the medical assistance classes got all the privileges. Mr. Mufasa was the person in charge of the school at the time and the medical students got all the privileges. I am a Caucasian female and i speak only the English language. UEI only sent me to one place for a job and they ask if i was bilingual and they sent at least 20 other students there who could speak Spanish which i thought was really unfair. I called UEI everyday and was always told they don't have any job leads. I did not have any job skills, I found a job at a company named Bell Foundry and was let go after a month because the skills i learned at UEI were not compatible with being a receptionist. I was so embarrassed. Now i owe a lot of money to Fed Loan Services and it keeps piling up with interest. I don't think i should have to pay back a loan for a school that the outdated skills i learned never helped me get a job. I wish somebody could help me i am tired and worn out from all the notices for repayment.

PLEASE EVERYONE, PLEASE FILE A COMPLAIN AGAINST UEI SAN DIEGO, OR WHEREVER YOU GOT RIPPED OFF, FILE WITH http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/about.shtm. IF WE ALL FILE, THEY MIGHT JUST CLOSE THAT DAMM SCHOOL DOWN. THEY CAN NOT GET AWAY WITH THERE LIES, THEY DISTROED A LOT OF PEOPLE.

Honestly, I hate to say this but no degree is a guaranteed job placement. It takes time, motivation, and persistence. It took me about 2 years to find a job after I graduated from a 4 year university and I was almost 40K in Debt. I'm sure she will find a job but it takes two to tango :) Hope all is going well with the job hunt. Always do your research before you buy no matter what it is.
