JustFlowers.com - charged my credit card, did not deliver flowers

I ordered flowers on 12/30/2010 to be sent for a birthday gift. Just Flowers accepted the order and charged my debit card (credit card transaction) $55.97 . The flower delivery was set for January 1, 2011. At 4:30 eastern time on on January 1, Justflowers called me to tell me they couldn't deliver the flowers on January 1, and rescheduled the delivery for January 3. On January 3 at about 3:00 p.m. eastern, the again called to tell me this time that they didn't have the flowers I ordered, that they wanted to substitute white roses for the colored ones I ordered. I agreed with that, and they promised to deliver the flowers right away. That night at 8:00 p.m., still no flower delivery. I called and asked what's up, they said a supervisor would have to call me back. This morning, Tuesday January 4, a supervisor called me back to tell me they are cancelling the order. They promise to return my money, but after reading the posts here, I doubt they will. What terrible customer service. I'd never use this company again.

I placed an order on 7 May 2011 with JUSTFLOWERS.COM after the company I had origianally placed an order with informed me that they would not be able to deliver. JUSTFLOWERS.COM accepted the order for 8 May 2011. On 9 May 2011 at 8:08 PM I received an email from JUSTFLOWERS.COM stating that they were not able to deliver and would deliver on 10 May 2011. I called JUSTFLOWERS.COM 5-6 times attempting to cancel and the automated customer support system hung up on me after wating 5 minutes for a representative. Prior to hangning up the recording suggested that I submit my question to thier web site which only offered options to change the delivery date. I then sent an email to JUSTFLOWERS.COM to cancel the order for non-performance. After checking my email on 10 May 2011 i did not find an acknowledgement of my request to cancel the order and called JUSTFLOWERS.COM. The representative explanined that they had canceled my order and would reverse the credit card charge in 1-4 business days. my recommendation is to stay away from JUSTFLOWERS.COM.

Virtually all the complaints here are from what is termed "Order Gatherers".
Just Flowers takes your order, siphons off a hefty service charge then calls florists like me to try and get us to fill their unrealistic orders. They'll promise delivery on Mars to get you to part with your money.

In the future, look online for a local bricks and mortar florist in the city that you need to send flowers to (be careful, Wesley Berry and other order gatherers can be misleading) and order directly. Not only will you save money, you'll have a much better idea of what will actually be sent.
