Auto zone in los banos ca. damaged my windshield when installing wiper blades in december 2021
The district manager named Juan Guzman said to repair windshield send the bill and he would reimburse me. I sent the bill for the replacement and tinting and he would only pay for the windshield and not for the tinting. After much arguing he would not get off his position not to pay for the tinting. The cost of the tinting was $70.00 Some info for you to consider...
1. when I purchased the car it had a tinted windshield...
2. when they installed the wiper blades causing damage to the windshield it was a tinted windshield.
3. When the windshield was replaced the company said they do not do tinting and I would have to contact someone in the area to do the tinting.
the company came and tinted the windshield.
4. I settled for the reimbursement on the windshield on January 25th and now I want to be imbursed for the tinting. That will put me back the way my windshield was before the damage. That is, a tinted windshield. Nothing more nothing less.
Please respond to my request sooner than the los banos district did by waiting over a month to reply.
I have notes and bills if you need them. I am 91 years old and I do not know how to attach them.
