Hello there Spokeo, et, al.
Since Spokeo encourages feedback (per Spokeo Terms of Service) Then this is an official complaint of dissatisfaction.
I have found the description and "offer" information for Spokeo's "REVERSE PHONE LOOKUP" service to be deceptive - misleading and ALMOST predatory.
The $1.95 Spokeo offer that includes a $1.00 first time User discount is a classic use of fear-dampening thought succession… leading to a Spokeo service sale for.95 cents.
If that's not enough, the information returned using Spokeo's "REVERSE PHONE LOOKUP" service is no more inclusive or complete than that of what could easily be obtained from free search platforms or even Google.
I realize that Spokeo is a for-profit data services company but I absolutely object to paying for something JUST TO LEARN that the fee I paid for Spokeo's "REVERSE PHONE LOOKUP" service brings me no closer to what I would receive for nothing… while finding out that what I really want will cost much more.
One commonly accepted definition of the English word "extortion" is "the act or an instance of extorting something, as by psychological pressure".
In closing, and per the Spokeo satisfaction language that is posted on the Spokeo Web Site, I am utterly and entirely DISSATISFIED.
Please follow and execute Spokeo's dissatisfaction policy with new users.
