I just called this store location, Ridgecrest Calif, at 145pm and a older lady who called herself Marie, answered the phone abruptly and rudely hung up on me. I have been doing business there for quite awhile and Marie sounded a lot like the Susan, whom normally answers the phone for the front end. My reason for calling was that my neighbor told me that the store has changed it hours, but my question was never answered as Marie so rudely hung up on me. What a rude person Marie is. Their customer service has really gone downhill.

Rite Aid - employee favoritism
I have a question but I refuse to give my name as I will be let go. Why is this being allowed? Employee, Susan Tunget, is allowed to work the same shift as her boyfriend, Doug Sperry a shift supervisor, whom she lives with. This is completely unfair as it's all about favoritism. Susan is constantly getting calls, at least 3 or more, here almost everyday. This Rite Aid, Ridgecrest CA, used to a nice place to work. She is able to do whatever she wants and the rest of us have to pick up the slack for her. Management here just turns a blind eye to everything.
Had to change pharmacies. Rite aid in Ridgecrest was driving me crazy. They are so slow and I don't think they even care how long they make you wait. When you go through the drive thru it's going to take you at least a half hour. Ridiculous! And when you go in... it's just as bad. The last time I was there they told me my prescriptions were ready ( over the phone) when I went in there not only did I have to wait about 10 minutes (and they saw me standing there) the prescriptions weren't ready. They said it would be another hour. That was it! I had all my prescriptions transferred to WALMART! Not only does someone help you right away...the drive thru doesn't take forever. Oh, your prescriptions are ready usually within a couple hours, very happy.
Rite Aid - customer service
Wow. I have been using the pharmacy for a year now and have never had an issue. They now must have two employees named Marie, as I called yesterday and spoke with Marie at the front counter. I know this is not the same Marie who works in the pharmacy, as this Marie was very rude and short with me. Never had an issue when dealing with the Marie in the pharmacy, but the Marie who answered yesterday from OPTION 5, needs to have an attitude adjustment. I will go in from now on.
Called last night. Whats up with the rudeness from Tracy Susan Kelly Marie. What a joke no wounder why so many bad reviews! People need to go to either Walmart or Walgreens. Loose the attitudes.

I was totally blown away when I saw a picture posted on the internet December 19 2019 of employees at location 101 N. China Lake Blvd. Ridgecrest California 93555 giving basically thumbs up. I could not believe this being posted, as employee Susan Tunget was one of the employees featured in the picture. It is well known around Ridgecrest that this employee has been convicted on two counts of Welfare Fraud to Obtain Aid. This information can be found on The Kern County Superior Court website. If she had no problem committing fraud, are we to believe that she will not also steal from customers?
Rite Aid - pharmacy employee
I am writing to inform you as to the most terrible experience I have ever had with your pharmacy. On November 28th I went in to pick up a perscription that was called in by my doctor on November 26th. It was very busy and they were short staffed on Thanksgiving day. The clerk took my info and I advised her it was workmans comp. I gave her the all the info that was given to me and she said it was declined, I then infomed her I had more numbers maybe they would help and informed her I would be out of town for the holiday and needed my medication as it was from a injury. She obviously was overwelmed between my needs and a customer pulling up to the drive thru. Her reply was " I don't have time for you!" needless to say that beyond pissed me off! I know what it's like dealing with the public as I do my self BUT you never ever say something like that to a customer EVER! This is the 3rd time I have had problems and the 3rd time is a charm as I will not be doing business with this company ever again!

Why not ask your neighbor what the store hours are since she told you the news. I am sure she did not hang upon you on purpose.
