I moved to Downtown San Diego 3 months ago with my dog who weighs 14lbs. Since I moved here and walked my dog in the Horton's Plaza Park 3 times a day. Along with the walks came a female Security Officer tailing me around and constantly telling me that I can not walk my dog or let him use the grass since he is ruining it. There are TWO DOG BAG STATIONS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE PARK and multiple signs posted by the CITY OF SAN DIEGO which will be attached to this post that indicated dogs can be walked but they just be cleaned up after OBVIOUSLY! I caught her taking pictures of me and went up to her and asked her why she was taking pictures of me without my permission. Her response was I have told you multiple times to not walk your dog here, my reply was there is nothing in writing ( signs ) that say I can not walk my dog as well as the city of San Diego website in regards to this park and dog walking. Both the site and the park clearly indicate that dogs can be walked on the property. She continued to take pictures of me and said she is building a case against me and has 6 other pictures of me picking up my dogs poop and walking in the grass. I asked her how else am I supposed to pick up his poop if I don't walk to where he went. I heard crickets! She continued to photograph me with her private phone and indicated that her boss Jerry ordered her to stop people from walking there dogs on the grass. I spoke to a sheriff that lives in my building and he indicated to report her and this company on multiple levels since he's been harassed by the same woman multiple times as well. I have started a letter already signed by 27 people that have been harassed by this same person and I am submitting it to THE CITY OF SAN DIEGO, the media, My job as well as all the other buildings in this area. I am also putting a contact number for complaints to the city of San Diego for all to see in my building as well as others in the local area for people to complain if they have been harassed by her. None of the other security guards from the same company have ever said anything to me about walking my dog or anyone else for that matter. Just a little FYI... the signs posted are so people don't walk on the grass! IE the picture is of a TENNIS SHOE!
