After requesting to see the station manager (Jessica Garcia), in regards of a small issue/question I had, which needed some clarification, this particular 'manager' not only was not interested in much of what I had to say, but proceeded to go get a membership cancellation form for me to fill out, after brushing against me on her way to the reception desk, in a most inappropiate way, after I mentioned that, maybe, I should cancel my membership.
I must say, that I don't recall ever feeling so insulted in my entire life, especially, when my family and I have been members (paying) of the Y for many years. I haven't been paying over $80 per month, for years, to be insulted by some young millenial, who definitely does not know the difference between customer service and customer insulting.
I hope that the Y does something about it. I definitely don't think that someone endowed wit such a disposition should work in a Customer service environment, no less hold the manager's position.
Meanwhile, I, and all other members of my family, will not set foot in the San Diego Toby Wells Y.
