My Perfect Resume - scam/ripoff/unauthorized credit card charge

I came across this site that advertises as "free" resume service in other websites. After I spent a hr. and was about to download I got a message that I need to pay 2.99$ for downloading it. I should have got wind that this is a shady site. I was mainly interested in the template and the downloaded file that was totally messed up cosmetically (my purpose defeated). I cancelled the service right away (02/15/2016) and requested a refund.
Couple weeks later I noticed 2 charges $35.xx and $1 in foreign transaction fee. I came to know my trial subscription money back guarantee did not go through and on top of it they had stolen 36$ from me. Yes to me it is stealing.
I called their rep and she opened a case ticket # [protected]. I explained the entire situation and even asked her to check the activity logs that would show that I did not use their service beyond 2 day (trial period) and have not logged in going forward.
I was generous enough to let go of the $3 (Money Back Guarantee) and requested to refund 35$ . Next day I got an email that the billing department have rejected my refund.

Customer sign up for trials based on good faith that the service provider is genuine and not a scam artist. After this episode I am paranoiac about signing up for any trial offers.

My Perfect Resume - Unauthorized credit card charges

This is the second complaint I have lodged. I logged onto myperfectresume.com, tried to create a resume, it didn't work, company will not stop charging me. I was charged $136.75 on 28 september 2015 and I would like the monies reimbursed immediately. Please email me at [protected]@gmail.com with an outcome asap.

The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings.

My Perfect Resume - Scam

Warning to everyone do not use this service, they state it's free resume building when it's not. At no stage while building resume is any cost mentioned it's not until you finish it a small fee is required and credit card details. Unknowingly that a fee of 34.95 will be coming out every month, it's a scam and this site needs to be shut down! By all the complaints on this site I am not the only one that has been scammed... Not happy!

Our subscription terms and conditions are available for the client to see before making any purchase as well our free account gives you the opportunity to try out our resume builder before deciding to purchase. The ability to print, email, or download your resume and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription and not listed as a feature of the free account. However you can download a plain text version of your resume for free.

My Perfect Resume - Continuing to charge after I cancelled subscription!

I used the site to build and create a resume. After I paid to use it I cancelled my subscription but still got charged. After calling the customer "help" center they were unable to offer any help, all they said was because they couldn't locate an account linked to my email they wouldn't be able to provide any assistance. Well, that makes sense because I cancelled the membership and no longer had one! I provided everything they asked, last four of CC, email linked to account and full name. They then tried to blame the continuing charges on my credit card company and not themselves. I have my account number that My Perfect Resume assigned to me and the email account and last four of my CC however no one at the organization can seem to fix the problem. What a complete scam, I am so frustrated, and it's not a little charge it's $35.80 a month!
