These centers should be closed for good.The company is just a fraud and they have deceptive practices, i took my daughter at the age of 12-13 and the office manager the by name Tammy then promised us that the age is propper and they would get rid of the hair in 5 sessions if not she offered another 2 years free of gharg that i accepted that and paid close to 4, 000 thousand dollors.It was all lies becaouse they were not using the propper machine for romoving the hair, getting in touch with them was almost impossible and make the story very short after 4 years of comming and going for my daughter and the time and the pain almost all the hair are still there and even though we had couple of sessions left we stop going there and we had to start with another co that i paid again about 2, 000 thousand dollors, now i would like to know who is responssible for all the moner i lost and no result what so ever?. I will not let this go without fight and i want atleast half of my moner back so even if i have to go to Daily Breeze or any other sources to reavel their fraud i wont stop doing that, so people make sure that you will not even get close to American Laser Center and beaware . You really do not have to look long to see another unhappy American Laser Center X-Customer. I only wish I did some research prior to falling for their "Gaurenteed Results" line they advertise. I too fell victim and was bilked for hundreds of dollars. From what I can see on the internet and from personal experience the laser hair removal from ALC does not work! Run away from this company if you are thinking about doing business with them! I also "won" a package and was promised hair removal with gaurenteed results. They will tell you that you will be "hair free" with in 6-8 treatments and that they have a maintenance program for up to 2 years to keep you "hair free' in case any hair grows back. I personally went through 18 treatments and still had no change in the hair reduction. When I asked for my money back they gave me nothing but a run a round. DO NOT PAY MONEY TO THIS COMPANY!
I too have dealt with this company. I was burnt so many times that my skin would just fall off. After several treatments I was told that this procedure doesn’t work on dark skin people, it tends to burn them. Their treatment has left me scared for life. I asked them for a full refund plus the cost of repairing their damage, but ALC did not meet my refund needs. I too was given the run a round for many years. Their service just does not produce the results they promise. They are unprofessional and deceitful. The most incompetent business I have ever come across. They promise what they can not deliver. They are extremely great at sugar coating words initially just so that they can abuse you and your money.
If there is a class action law suit I too would like to join it.

This place has no limit to the level of dishonesty they will stoop to. They took 3, 000 dollars from my mom when she purchased a package from them for hair removal as a birthday gift to me and my sister. I am biracial. I was told a year later that my skin type would not react to the lasers, and a package should have never been offered to me. Did they refund anything...OF COURSE NOT. They keep the money and wish you luck. They are masters at sales and scoundrals in service. I have never in my life experienced such dispecable business behavior. I am baffled as to how they stay in business. The internet is full of complaints. Please, please, please do NOT give them your money.

I purchased the recommended 6 treatements of hair removal of my bikini, underarms and full legs. I have undergone at least a dozen treatements on my legs, and probably 18 or so on my underarms and bikini. I still have at least 50% of my hair if not more. My skin has been burned many times. I have the treatments at the highest recommended strength. They promise razor free, smooth skin. They can not deliver. I was not told until a year and a half after my sixth treatment that it does not work on blond hair, yet their brochure states that it does. I am 1/3 portugese, so my skin tans fairly easy, but I am still fairly light skinned, I do not go tanning, I have maintained the same skin color for years, yet when I question about the results I am not asked if I am always so tan. Nothing was ever mentioned when they took my money. I, too have tried to dispute the charges with my credit company, because I am not getting what I paid for, hair free skin; however, since I am still in my 2 year guarantee period they will not do anything. I only have a few months left, and my results have not imroved for the past year, so I am pretty sure I will not have any less hair in the next few months. I would not recommend this treatment to anybody.

I wish I would have looked here first, add me to the rest of very unsatisfied customers! My husband is a nice guy but he finally had to ask me what I was getting out of this. His reply was, "you spent alot of money & I really don't see any difference."
I don't even think I will have the rest of my procedures done, it all seems to be a waste of time. My skin still sags and sure doesn't look any better than before I joined. Any suits in Michigan, please let me know.
