10/28/22, 11/1/22,11/2/22 - netspend is the worse! Do not buy one of these cards!
I assist homeless individuals. A person has a chance to stop living in his car; as senior who has been to the hospital twice b/c of blood clots in his leg and still currently has them. He put $300 on a visa netspend card — thinking it would be "that easy" — they took his money — of course quickly. Netspend does not answer their phone. You will get a recording saying they "are unable to talk to you." I faxed, scanned, emailed the identifying documents they requested.. I did this 5 times. On the 3rd time I was directed by "kimchester" that the copies of the social security card and proof of address was "accepted" but not the copy of the id b/c it was "too dark." I faxed, emailed, scanned another copy of the id — I was then contacted (email) by rhoxan saying that I needed to submit the "required identifying documents — all of them." not the 1 that kimchester requested but now all 3. I emailed them back asking why are there 2 different requests and still no response. My client is sickly and only needs the $300 to move into an apartment.
Do not buy a netspend card. You will not get reputable or knowledgable assistance. These customer service people do not communicate with each other and have no idea what they are doing! It's a well planned facade and in this situation, a man's life is in the balance — no one cares at netspend!
Desired outcome: phone or respond to my email. I WOULD APPRECIATE SOMEONE TO VERIFY HIS DAMN IDENTITY SO THAT WE CAN USE HIS MONEY that is being held and not released by Netspend!! [protected])
